The year 2010-2011, Hargeysa airport received more than 14 million passengers. The population of the whole Somalia is less than 10 million.

hargeysa has a small airfield and only smaller planes that can carry upto 100 passangers can land. bigger airplanes land in berbera

is it is 14,000,00/100= 140,000

140,000/ 365 = 383 flights a day.

i call this bullshit.

Edit: what does the Somali population have anything to do with how many passengers received ? Hargeysa has a lot of foreign travelers hence why the number is inflated, and it still doesn't add up correctly

When I went to college, my physics teacher quickly recognize my weakness. He said to me you always want exact number.. This is physics, we estimate stuff...

People use airports for transit, to visit a city, coming and going. Population of a country/city and airport statistics have nothing to do with each other.
