In all world full of war and poverty, we should be thankful to god for making our western abodes such hospitable places. Join me in prayer for all free societies which have become refuges for the Somali diaspora, a new home for us all.

O God, eternal savior of men, great is your glory and that of those whom you have chosen. O God protect our countries from every calamity we can think of and those we cannot. O God decimate our enemies, elevate our economies, and make everlasting all that we hold sacred and just. God we are mighty, so make us mightier; God we are wealthy; so make us wealthier; God we are united, so make us indivisible. God you have created man free, and have given man the right to determine his own destiny. God safeguard our freedom! God safeguard our freedom! God safeguard our freedom! Expose those who armed with big turbans and even greater beards try usurp your glory and sovereignty, and who deceive the people with falsehood and oppress them with tyranny. God protect the people from tyranny and from poverty, from ignorance and arrogance, from disease and decline. God we are fallible and weak, prone to temptation and sin so forgive us our trespasses and extinguish the fires of hell except a very few reserved for the most wicked among us. Great is our God who has granted us all life, and his mighty hand is sufficient for us in all matters.

It's ironic that you said this because the very system you advocate for, secularism, removes God from the political landscape and attempts to contain his teachings in religious institutions.

The word of god can be proclaimed freely from every street corner and the people are free to practice and worship God. We will not usurp the power of God by making ourselves self anointed viceroys. Those who try to rule by claiming to be privy to God's will most likely than not blaspheme his holy name. Al Shabab being a good example of this. The Saudi regime being a good example of this. The Iranian regime being a good example of this. The Taliban being another good example of this. Men are fallible and weak, prone to abuse power. Do not make a man in power think that God has blessed his actions because it will corrupt him even more.

Your assertion is a false one, apparently we both agree that God is sovereign, therefore only He is able to legislate laws for the Earth and not a lowly human. What you are arguing for is a man-made democratic republic similar to America which completely disregards God's opinion on important social, economic matters and refers too a man-made constitution drafted and legislated by lowly mankind. Therefore you have breached God's attribute: Al-Xaakim or The-Legislator/Ruler.

Now you may argue that shariah law is also interpreted by men and can be manipulated to serve a patriarchal agenda. This notion is also false because truly learned scholars with the assistance of a capable Caliph can effectively implement shariah law.

Such modern instances like the Taliban, Iran, Saudi Arabia are all flawed misinterpretations of shariah law and does not represent the true nature of it.

.

Sharia laws is not only interpreted by big beared men(sheikhs) but 90% of sharia laws was written bye sheikhs... yes Sharia laws is man made laws almost 90% of it... Sharia laws were written bye the 4 mad-hab founders such as imaam shaafici. xanbali..xanafi and Maaliki.. and also there are other Sharia laws writters from different sects in Islam.. so Shaira law is not much different than other man made laws..

This is false, those great Imams learned from the Sahaba and they learned from the Prophet (SAW) and the Quran. Do you think those shuyuukh just invented rulings as they please! Abadan! They took the xuduud from the Quran, sunnah and ijmaac of sahabah. so nothing was invented it was simply compiled and simplified for future reference.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And the firepower to make the difference.

Gods of war I call you
My sword is by my side
I seek a life of honor
Free from all false pride

I will crack the whip
With a bold mighty hail
Cover me with death
If I should ever fail

Glory, majesty, unity
Hail! Hail! Hail!
