The Burundi national football team was in tip top form on Sunday as they beat Somalia 5-1 at the on- going Cecafa Senior Challenge Cup in Kampala, Uganda.
Somalia's coach Sam Ssimbwa said that his team played well in the first half but failed to close the gaps in the second half. "We shall improve in the second game," he said.
The second Group B game saw Tanzania humble Sudan 2-0 with both goals coming in the first half through John Bocco. Burundi now lead Group B with better goal difference than Tanzania. On Monday Zanzibar face Eritrea and Rwanda battle guest side Malawi in Group C matches.
The winner of the event which ends Dec. 8 will bag 30,000 U.S. dollars and a trophy, while the second and third will take home 20,000 dollars and 10,000 dollars respectively.
How come Disneyland was not Invited to play?
