A village council in the eastern Indian state of Bihar has banned the use of mobile phones to women, saying its use was "degrading the social environment" by causing breaks women of their marriages . The ban has sparked angry protests from activists.

"We're always very embarrassed when someone says they have escaped," said Manuwar Alam , who heads a newly formed committee charged with enforcing the ban , referring to inquiries from neighboring villages.

He said the number of trips and extramarital affairs had increased in recent months, with at least six girls and women who had fled their homes.

"Even married women were leaving their husbands to elope with lovers. That was embarrassing for us," said Alam. "Therefore, we decided to deal firmly. Mobile phones are degrading the social environment . "

Local authorities have launched investigations, saying that such bans can not afford a healthy society , while rights activists described this as an assault on freedom, and that could hurt women, stripping them of a source of protection against problems , such as men who do not want.

Walaahi India is the one place in the world where women are still treated like 15th century England. At least in the 15th century England there was an acknowledgement that women were the fairer sex, they were valued as ornaments and trophy's.(not to mention, Queen Elizabeth I ruled in that era, so there was some semblance of respect lol) In India, a woman is basically trash. Disposable. Worthless. A man has to be paid to marry her--which is just like old England days. But Indians have gone as far as truly treating the women like they are dolls. Modern day slaves, Beating them, torturing them, abandoning them if they don't produce a male heir. I had an Indian friend, who is a Muslim, her dad abandoned the mother after she gave birth to 3 daughters. This poor girl was the baby one--she is kinda a tom boy and lesbo but she doesn't know it yet. She is desperately looking for a husband as she is hitting almost 30. She is not attractive, actually she is but if only she lost 28 pounds.
The Indian man is just like the Somali Man--tall, skinny and full of himself. Too much kibir and self love. They are misogynists who walk the world only seeing fellow men and not a woman, unless she is hot, and he is horny. Lots of cases of Indian men contracting AIDS in Indian, and purposely injecting HIV syringe to his wife as a ploy to belittle and control her. LOL Talk about insecurities and patheticness. They live in the dark era of primitiveness. In Afghanistan, the same is evident. A white reporter woman dressed in a burkha, walking with an American military man was stoned live on TV while she was reporting. The random raghead, assumed she was an afghani woman and his instinctively reacted as if she was his sister. Just like when I insitictively react when I see a Somali male with a fat white chic or worst, an African American dhi.lo. Or a Somali dhi.lo with an African American man.

what i meant was, if they want ban, illen naaguhu dont cheat with each other, they cheat with men, so as well ban from both men and women, if they want ban it.
