No, do not tell her. She does not have to know that unless you are planning to do that within a week or so!

some guys told me their intention about taking a second wife and I was furious about it.

I think( from my experience) that you have already talking to the second wife-to-be. Because that is what those guys revealed to me afterwards.

Once this big Sheikh died in a city I used to live years ago and a few ladies came forward claiming to be his wife so they can get what they thought they rightfully deserved as a widow. 2 of them were international (Sweden and Kenya) while the other 2 were in his city. None of them knew they were his 2nd, 3rd and 4th wife and the 1st wife thought she was in a monogamous relationship with him the whole time. He's a pretty well known Sheikh too so I won't reveal his identity.

If a Sheikh can get away with it, so can you.

Allah didn't make it obligatory upon women to be in polygamous marriages.


You probably don't have the slights clue as to what "Allah" (Show some respect and use a capital "A") allowed, especially when it comes to marriage.
