while watching BBC news i though how long will it take before a hijabi was on there, i was like what if one day Riz Lateef (Muslim news reader at the BBC)decided to wear the hijab would she still have her job.

From what I gather, she seems to be less concerned with the 'integrity' of journalism, and more so interested in further perpetuating visibility of Muslim women in a public sphere by anchoring on a mainstream network. The hijabi is the only one who gets to dictate what we can see and what we can hear, and what we can print and what we not print, because at that point Sharia Islamic law in effect becomes the program on the TV because the Islamist gets to have the authority, not anyone who opposes Islam. This is a very, very important issue.
