I'd rather be here than be at Bossaso, their summers are 10x hotter than what I'll ever experience here in the states. with that said, No I don't feel the same.

Bossasso and the rest of Somalia has almost perfect weather every day, but in bossasso it gets very warm in the summer as you said but rather to warm than cold....

does the cold wheather have any effects on you? just look at the beautiful blue sky and ocean :ahh:

I'd rather be in Iceland than Somalia for the long term. You enjoy access to good healthcare, safety, law and order, a good social net and a comfortable life without many changes. In Somalia, you are always unsure about tomorrow.

Inshallah I want a Somalia which provides those things to all her people.... but you can live the good life in peaceful areas of Somalia if you have the money..... but I meant more regarding the climate......

I have a better quality of life here than back home.

Real talk, a simple picture of some boys running along side the beach made you seriously question whether you'd be better off there :?

Guys you are talking like we are rich just because we are living in the West, thats not true..... we have to work hard for our salaries and then the government takes alot of it in tax....... we have to make the ends meet just like in Somalia..... and all the bills and the racism......

23 years ago, my uncles were killed and their bodies thrown into wells. Their stores were looted, wells poisoned and animals killed by the so called government of the time. Your uncles were comfortable chilling in Xamar supporting those who committed crimes against innocent villagers. Don't hate on the nephews of the deceased seeking justice.

It's evident that most people here haven't been to Somalia before or were last in the country when they were toddlers. Somalia is a shit hole with no major city better than the other. It's a hell hole. Horrible health care. Children have a high chance of not reaching their 5th birthday. High illiteracy rates. Every other person has Hepatitis C. Most of the population is addicted to khat. 90% unemployment rates. People coming up to you begging you to sponsor them. You have absolutely no idea how lucky you people are. The cold lasts for what, 3-4 months of the year in your countries? If you hate the cold that much, immigrate to another country. Most people here live in the EU, move to Spain. You have very little restrictions as EU residents. I know of one person who killed himself back home because his life was crappy and he was living in one of the more peaceful large cities in Somalia. It's that bad there.

My jaw dropped when I saw a Somali family in Reykjavik two summers ago :| I am sure that family would agree with you.
