Re: The Sewing Thread
I learnt how to sew from my ex best friend and her mother. Ever since then I have sewed many things, I buy materials and sew my own abayas, I sewed my own dress, I fix my sisters and mums clothes when they rip. I sew my own diracs and batis just buy the material. It beats having to get it done by Somali ladies who bump you and charge your £15 to £30 to sew a buddy Dirac which only takes 10/15 minutes and doesnt require much thread. But I want to learn how to do them comfy jumpers/socks etc... that grandmas do.

its inauthentic, as r all modern conveniencesTeAmo wrote:![]()
Wtf I don't get it. What do you call sewing with a sewing machine then? Plus who still uses their hands to sew? I only know how to do that with simple things. You can't make a proper clothing with your hands
o rly. the navajo have been doing it for generationsTeAmo wrote:You can't make a proper clothing with your hands

Re: The Sewing Thread
Dude stop trolling with me. It's extremely difficult to sew a proper clothing by hand. Plus they rip easy when done by hand.
If your planning to learn it by hand good luck
