Dec 2(Shabelle)— A delegation from East Timor led by its finance minister Mrs Emlia Pires, who is the current head of G7 plus nations, visiting Mogadishu yesterday.

Mrs Pires met with her Somali counterpart Mr. Mohamud Hassan Suliman at Mogadishu´s Aden Ade international airport where the two ministers held talks.

G7 plus is an umbrella for nations recovering from economic and war affects and it unites 18 nations.

Mrs Emlia Pires, who spoke to the media at the airport alongside the Somali finance minister, said that she was glad to have come to Mogadishu.

Many delegates from around the world visited Mogadishu since it fully came under the Somali federal government control and its airport which was later named after Somalia´s first elected president, Aden Ade retained its name on the world list, thanks to SKA, an air logistic based in Dubai which has significantly invested and repaired it from almost a full destruction

The investment and management of the SKA group at the airport has also created jobs for hundreds of Somalis at the airport and the facilities, which SKA group installed at the airport has attracted major airlines like the Turkish airlines which flies to Mogadishu every week now.

This lady did not come in her capacity as the finance minister of East Timor, but as the head of the G7 Plus nations
G7 plus is an umbrella for nations recovering from economic and war affects and it unites 18 nations.
