Funny/strange altercations with Somalis

Post by CilmiDoone »

Too many funny incidents with Somalis

Once rancomly came across an older Somali woman (50's). She was off her head, not normal. Within 5 minutes or so she started telling some people I was her "son" LMAO. Shes like "just play along, say im your mum". So im asked is she your mum? Im like "no, no she is not". She looks at me with a terribly disappointed face and asks "why didn't you just play along and tell them I was your mum".

Me and the people I was with were like :mindblown: :wtf:

Or when they start calling you "adeer, adeer". You know they're gonna ask you to do something for them. "Adeer, adeer, they're telling me my luggage is too much/heavy, will you take some for me adeer. You aint my adeer, sod off :whoa:

I had a similar one like that a few years ago at a supermarket.. The bloke was drunk and on the floor screaming/shouting.. As soon as I walked nearby he starts shouting 'Thats my daughter, abo abo'.. :mindblown:

Another strange/scary altercation with a Somali guy was a year ago.. We both got off the same plane and he approached me and said I was watching you asleep throughout the entire plane journey.. with the most scariest look on his face like.. :shaq:

Drunk tafseer in support of Ghaddafi. Kinda taken aback by the foreshadowing now.

A funny kaftan between two guys, I laughed really hard.

Guy 1 plays out a scene to ridicule Guy 2

He says war qabiilka fought their most epic battle in the 90s, 3 days of non-stop gun fire. When the gun sounds stop all the people came out and agreed to go collect their dead, when they got to the scene they shockingly discovered one fatality, a bird hit by a stray bullet because ur from a such a useless langaab clan, no one died.

I was listening to ur phone convo when u called to find info about ur clans dagaal and qaraan money

Guy2: halooo
Phone: haaa
Guy2: War wax ma disheen?
Phone: maya
Guy2: wax ma kufsateen
Phone: maya
Guy2: qaniis maleedihiin
Phone2: maya

Guy2: war fuk this shit....qabiil kama dhalan

Somalis are synonymous with altercations.

The worst is,

Somalis wanting to get to know you, so they ask what clan you belong to and when you say you're reer hebel, they say ''oh I'm reer hebel too'' and when you point out the fact that their Somali dialect gives them away, they insult you.

How many times have my Somalinimo stopped me from severely hurting these people.

On my way back home once I had to change planes from Dubai to Sharjah. So I had to catch a taxi.I got in and asked how much to Sharjah.
The driver explained 75 dirham or whatever the local currency was.I told him I only had Pound Sterling. He said he won't take it.
I then saw some random Somali walking by.I called him and gave him 50 pounds to go and change for me.As soon as he left the Sudanese driver was like "Wtf you don't even know him why did you give him your money" I said we Somalis abroad are all family. It's just when we are in OUR LANDS THAT WE ARE AT EACH OTHERS THROATS
Five minutes later he comes back with nearly 300 dirhams.I gave the driver his 75 and left the rest for that man.True story. So it's not all doom and gloom

One night I went out and I came across this older Somali male. As I was walking by, he yelled out "Asalaama calaykum". After my group and I returned our salaams, he asked "ma cabtan" After he saw the looks on our faces, wuxuu idhi "haddaanad wax cabin, maxaa xiligan idin soo saaray". Mind you, he's wasted himself
