In 1453, the Byzantine capital of Constantinople is surrounded by Ottoman Turks. The city is but a shadow of its former glory due to the empire's ever receding coffers, while the Ottoman Empire continues to grow rich. After years of tolerating the existance of Byzantium, the ambitious sultan, Mehmet II launches his campaign to end the Byzantine Empire and take Constantinople for the Ottomans, resulting in arguably the greatest siege of that age.

The prophet PBUH+F said about him:

Verily you shall conquer Constantinople. What a wonderful leader will he be, and what a wonderful army will that army be.


Arabs are so jealous of this merit giving to a turkish caliph that they interpret the hadith as following: the amiir in this case is Mahdi, and that arny will be his followers.
They do this because they are blinded by nationalism.

That hadith wasn't fullfilled with the conquering of constantinople in 1453, if you conduct the traditional hadith research and bring all hadiths mentioning constantinople, you would come to realise that the conquering of constantinople is ahead of us, in the time when jerusalem is flourshing and medina is in destitution, Was medina destitute in 1453?

The prophet PBUH was talking about conquering constantinople for the first time. We all know which group did so.

If the prophet pbuh was talking about future event ahead of us, he would have said: verily you will reconquer constantinople after having lost to crusaders.

I have a feeling you are being sarcastic, the reason why i hold this point is because many sheikhs agreed that the prophecy was fulfilled with the conquering of Constantinople by the Ottomans, but this is a mountain of a mistake, not only that, but the founders of the Turkish republic changed the name to Istanbul, only to conceal what is to come, and to tell us that the conquering came and went.

What you and Hutu are saying is that the hadiths suggest there are 2 different conquering, but i read through those hadiths tons of times and the prophet only mentioned Constantinople being conquered once, and it seems that conquering will be in the same time when Medina is in total desolate destitution and Jerusalem is flourishing more then ever.
