If they cleaned up the sound a bit, I can see myself listening to that. So long as there's effort. Better than the regular autotune+green screen+powerpoint videos.

Reminds me of those really old vids you'd come across, with people that had some real talent.
It really bugs me when I try to figure out how that central "Somali sound" came into the music. Seems like everyone copies everyone else. Hopefully these guys will try something else.

That's garbage if you compare it to the old classics.

He sure got a style but the song and his voice is rubbish. I am really not fan of these young singers nowadays.

^ That! I don't know, though these guys are doing good job with the live music & stuff, don't they have someone who knows about amplifiers & sound technology? I am not sure if they only record their shows at Universal studio or different venues but I saw some songs they made at Universal studio on Youtube and you can barely hear the singer's voice.Alphanumeric wrote:If they cleaned up the sound a bit, I can see myself listening to that. Apart from that, Abdifatah Yare is one of the best singers in the diaspora heesaa. The only singer who does justice to the late Dhuule's (RIP) music.
