If a non-Muslim asked you this Question.

Post by 1nemansquad »

Why do Muslims Love Prophet Muhammad? (saw)

How would you answer? what sort of answer would you have given?
I was asked such question today and I was very disppointed with myself and the answer I have given which was. I love Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) because he is the holy prophet of Allah who was sent towards all humans, not just arabs. He is the last prophet, who was sent to guide all the humans and jinns. This is why God chose his name to be written on his throne. Only Muhammad (PBUH) name is written with Allah's name.

Perhaps I was caught off guard or my knowledge of Rassululah is extremely weak that I couldn't think of anything else, after the conversation ended I was really displeased with myself for not doing our blessed prophet, the greatest man to ever lived justice by not saying much more, or if I was honest with myself not knowing much more.

The Prophet (pbbuh) said, "None of you will believe until I am more beloved to him than his children, his father and all people"

Because prophet Muhamad csw was send to this earth to deliver Allahs last final message and his message is crucial to the human race. and that of the Muslims on the day of judgement Prophet Muhammad will ask Allah the almighty to forgive his people for their sins. Thats why we love prophet Muhammad i love prophet Muhammad more than i live my own father and mother. Prophet Muhammad Allahs finest creation that walked on this earth. Prophet Muhammad was praised by Allah himself so loving him and his closest family members wacala alihi is very very important in islam.

Good thread..

I can say a million reasons why I love Prophet Muhammad (saw).. but the following are the first ones that come to mind..

- He (saw) was sent to us as a mercy/blessing..
- He (saw) dedicated his life to conveying Allah's message to us, he never rested and he would starve for us.
- He (saw) cried every night for the sake of humanity
- He (saw) faced sooooo many difficulties and hardships yet was always extremely patient
- When his opponent treated and continued treating him and his companions beyond cruelly he continued making dua for them.. Not once did he curse them not even when they baldy stoned him nor when his companions asked him to curse them.. He even continued praying for them even when angel jibriil asked for his permission to crush them.
- His amazing character.. His beautiful nature/gentleness and his generosity.. He actually practiced what he preached.. He never forced nor pressured anyone to accept the deen..
- His heart was filled with intense love for us *believers and non-believers*.. He always made dua for us
- He treated everyone with respect and was very affectionate with all even his opponents
- He was the best leader, the best husband, the best friend the best worshipper, the best role model..
- He actually taught us how to be humans..
- Prophet Muhammad (saw) will intercede for us on the day of judgment when no one else will..

Urwah bin Masoud when he visited the Messenger of Allah (saw) at the Muslim camp that was set in Hudaibiyah (south of Makkah, a days travel) he came to a different world.
Urwah bin Masoud may Allah be pleased with him came in to meet the Messenger of Allah (saw) and he saw with his eyes, things that amazed him. When the Messenger of Allah (saw) would make Wudu, the Sahabah would jump, to grab the water that would drop off his body in order to rub it on their faces and hands to get the blessings from the Messenger of Allah (saw) When a hair would fall they would jump to take it. When he would give them an order, they would rush to fulfill it.

When Urwah bin Masoud was talking to the Messenger of Allah (saw), there was a man covered with armor from head to toe, only his eyes could be seen. Whenever Urwah bin Masoud would extend his hand to hold on to the beard of the Messnger of Allah (saw) this man standing next to the Messenger of Allah (saw) would strike him with the butt of his sword and tell him Pull your hand away before it doesnít come back to you! So Urwah bin Masoud said I think that this man is the most wicked among you and the most rough, who is he? The Messenger of Allah (saw) smiled and said, This is your nephew, Al Mughirah ibn Shubah.

This was the nephew of Urwah bin Masoud. Now, because he was a Muslim, he was so devoted to the protection of the Messenger of Allah (saw) that he would not allow his uncle to extend his hand and touch the beard of Rasullah (saw), Urwah was obviously shocked by this. A shocked state to see how Islam has changed his own nephew al Mughirah ibn Shuíbah, and how he was dealing with him now.

Urwah bin Masoud went back to Quraysh and told them, O people of Quraysh, I have visited the kings of the world, and I have had audiences with Caesar and with Kisra -the Persian emperor, and with the Negus, and I have never seen the followers of a king so devoted to their leader like the Sahabah in their devotion to Muhammad (saw). And I have never seen any obedience amongst the followers of the kings like I have seen of the Sahabah with the Muhammad (saw). Whenever he would give them a command they would rush to do it, and whenever he would speak they would be silent as if birds are on their heads, and whenever he would make Wudu they would rush to get the droplets of water falling off his body, whenever a hair would fall from him they would try to get it. So O people of Quraysh, Muhammad (saw) has given you an offer, accept it, because I dont think that his followers will ever give him up.

Another example of why you come across as a mole in the Muslim community.

The same reason as Jesus kuye!

Christian believe that Jesus is the son of God, but i never came across a Muslim that believes Mohamed (scw) is the Son of God.

Ninyahow goormad kabadhka ka soo bixi? wale waad nagu raagtay oo waxaanu sugeyna maalintaad cadeysan doontid.

Inshaalah soon i hope!

Ps..Coming out of the closet (not as a gay, before you misunderstand) but as a bonafide kafir.

No lost at all, if you sensed there was a hidden agenda on their part.

"I can't speak for all Muslims but personally I have a soft spot for him because of his life story, the qualities he had and all the hardship he went through after Islam was revealed to him by the angel Gabriel. All he told his people - the Qureysh - at the time was that there is only One God and they should worship him, that they should stop burying their daughters alive. It was a really messed up society and for sharing the revelation with them they made his life miserable to the point that he had to run away from his home. It's actually quite touching, he was an orphan his dad died before he was born, his mother when he was about six then his grandfather shortly after that. His uncle raised him after that and he actually never converted to Islam not because he didn't believe that there was only one God but because of what people would think.

Like all the other prophets it's just when someone gives so much and doesn't ask for any payment. That is a genuine and sincere person and it's hard not to feel protective over them you know? There is so much about him to like I can't tell you everything but I have a book if you'd like to find out more...."

I hope I would say something along those lines

Jalaabiib!! You dumn negro. The question is not about the status of jesus according christinty or status of profet mohamed sc according islam. The question is about loving somebody and the reason thar you love that person..
Question is not about the believes of krishtaanka neither islaamka.

Jesus! Your missing the point.

Your reasoning is wrong. They love Jesus because they believe his the son of god and we dont think Mohammed saw was the son of god. Can you see your error?

Btw, for a man who's well versed in many things you make alot of basic mistakes when it comes to the diin. Either your confused or hiding something sxb

Christians love Jesus not because they believe him to be the son of God but because they believe that he died for their sins. So they love him because of the sacrifice he made for them without personally knowing them. So it is kinda similar to Muslims and Muhammad (pbuh) because he suffered while trying to save his ummah by passing on the revelation of Islam. He cried and was in anguish because of you and I, people he never met. He was also doing this because it was a command from Allah as he was chosen as a prophet the same way Christians believe that Jesus was sent by God. Similarly Musa (pbuh) and the Jews. When you think about it anyone who loves a prophet loves him for similar or the same reasons.

I agree, we may share alot but the biggest difference between the way they see jesus and the way we see him is that they claim he is god in human form. Its like muslims saying the prophet saw was god and he died for our sins instead of the truth that the pophet was just another man choosen by god to pass his message.
