The “transition” has not ended; Somalia has ended

Post by Transformer »

The choice has been made by the “donor”-powers/U.N. to set up a neo-colonial system formed by proxy-chains that begin at the top with the “donor”-powers/U.N., work through regional powers (Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, and Djibouti), and lock Somali factions into dependent, exploitative relations that benefit the domestic political class at the expense of the rest of the Somali people. The keenly perceptive analyst, Mohamud Uloso, who has written an ongoing series of studies of the “transition” as it has proceeded (anyone who wishes to understand Somalia’s dependency through the most penetrating political-legal analysis needs to read Uloso’ series), has put the situation concisely – the “transition” has not ended; Somalia has ended.

Lets remember it was Abdullahi Yusuf who started this by bringing in the Ethiopians in 1982, 2004 along with AMISOM.

In 1982 Abdullahi Yusuf was up against a mad dictator, then and in 2004 he was able to rise to the occasion to do what was necessary to rid Somalia of mad men. His actions made the Muqdisho today possible. And who are the ones reaping what Abdullalhi Yusuf managed to sow? Man like the one time Al Shabab sympathizer Tarzan and the one rumored to have rented the Somali Embassy in Rome for a measly 10,000 EURO without the Somali Federal government input, Nur Cade. Theirs was the sort of treachery and deceit that saw to Abdullahi Yusuf's resignation and eventually the fading of the International community high expectations for Somalia.

Just how irrelevant is Somalia's federal government? Check'em out whining as usual about being kept in dark:
Federal govt condemns France military operation in Somalia

MOGADISHU, Somalia Jan. 13, 2013 (Garowe Online) - Somalia 's federal government has condemned last week 's military operation by French commandos aiming to rescue a French intelligence agent held hostage by Al Shabaab militants in southern Somalia, Garowe Online reports.

Somali Cabinet ministers met in Mogadishu and Foreign Minister Fosia Yusuf Haji Aden later told a press conference at the government 'condemns ' the military operation.

"We regret this military operation and we condemn the unilateral action taken without the [Somali] Government 's knowledge. The Somali Federal Government sends condolences to the dead victims, including Somali victims and French soldiers, " said Minister Fosia.

French government leaders have said that Friday night 's military operation in Bulo Marer village of Lower Shabelle region ended in failure. French officials have said one French soldier was killed and another was 'missing ' , while adding that the hostage, Denis Allex, is 'believe d' to be dead.

French officials have also stated that 17 Al Shabaab militants were killed in the nighttime military operation.

Al Shabaab militants have claimed that the hostage, Mr. Allex, is alive. Militants in Mogadishu kidnapped Mr. Allex in 2009. The militants have also claimed that they killed and captured a number of French soldiers.

Foreign militar ies have taken unilateral action in Somalia to rescue their nationals from captivity during the years since the collapse of the Somali central government in 1991.

GAROWE ONLINE
And the sad part is, no one will pay any attention to what the so-call Somali officials have to say just as would a pimp whose bitch starts running her mouth.

No offence but I don't discuss Puntlands internal affairs with non Puntlanders. Let's stick to more pressing issues like those on the national level; as you know Ina Caasho wasn't elected but selected on formula call 4.5, whereas Hassan Culusow has been busy extending olive branch left and right to his clan and D&M lackeys, Ina Caasho has yet to travel outside of Villa Somalia. Is he his wife's rep. or Daroods?
