Relaxing Music
what music do you listen to when you want to relax
I like to put on my headphones, volume so high I cannot hear anything but the music, and just kick back and listen to Bob Marley.

I was going to post Etta and Otis and then I realised there is no such thing as "relaxing music" - everything triggers a thought process whether happy or sad, even Quran, even classical music, even native american music

I disagree. The singer does not ruin it. He actually, enhances it. The rhythm melody has a mixture of joy--(the amazing symphony) and the words sang--which is the opposite of joy. A depressed soul. This is without doubt will appeal to the depressed souls (such as Nabeela and likes
) and also appeal to joyful, jocular souls like myself. It also has a sophisticated sense of melody in it-- I guess, it is the amazing high class instrument used to produce the amazing symphony. No--Adali--u must agree with me---it is PERFECT. I guess, as the lyrics and the name of the song is called- bitter sweet symphony---a song mixed or 'symphonized' with bitter and sweetness!

I try my hardest not to. Just sit there and concentrate on the warmth of the sun, yoga helps in learning how to clear the mind. The only thing better is the subxanallah's and stuff you say after praying. That is relaxing.Keyblade wrote:wait so you don't think even when relaxing on a park bench?BlackVelvet wrote:I was going to post Etta and Otis and then I realised there is no such thing as "relaxing music" - everything triggers a thought process whether happy or sad, even Quran, even classical music, even native american music

sounds like you're expending even more mental energy than you would if you just let your mind wanderBlackVelvet wrote:I try my hardest not to.
