Child Sacrifice a Boom in Uganda: Should Xamar be worried?

Post by Transformer »

The story of child sacrifice by witch doctors in Uganda has not been unknown, but the BBC’s undercover report reveals all the brutality and graphic details of the ritual which some believe should bring wealth to the seeker. The reporter Chris Rogers posed as a businessman and fixed a meeting with a witch doctor, seeking for success of his local construction project.

"There are two ways of doing this. We can bury the child alive at your construction site or we can cut the child and put their blood in bottle of spiritual medicine," the witch doctor, identified as Awali, explained as if he was talking about any usual business.

"If it's a male the whole head is cut off . . . and his genitals. We will dig a hole at your construction site and bury the feet and the hands."

@Hutuking - No I'm not worried about the pastoral community of Puntland, because unlike the defenseless farmers in Bay, Middle Shabelle, etc. their armed to the teeth. The Al Shabab would be the ones running with tails between their legs in no time, you remember what they did to your cousin Col. Aweys and his Al Ittihad followers. Let them come our first line of defense have always been our harsh environment, open terrain with no single tree to give you shade :whew: while that takes its toll Puntland will be laughing all the way to the bank; donor money bitch, all in the name of fighting Al Qaeda link extremists :blessed:

I'd be worried tho. about this child sacrificing business if I had Ugandan among my children, who knows they might be pulling a fast one on a ceyr youngster before every mission for their safe return, the remains are buried so the killing would have take its toll till any of it are notice. That would be tragic, you'd be the only "punani" screaming ceyr left, now that would be EPIC! :wow:

I sense the green eye monster. Indeed envy destroys good deeds like fire destroys wood. A very bad trait which you need to work on :whew:
