15 years ago men and women from our clan decided enough is enough they took their self determination and destiny with their own hands by creating Puntland state they didn't ask anybody about permission. Here 15 years later the state is more stronger and prosperous than ever. Our president Faroole actually controls they areas he claims, he is not just a president on paper like others.... the international community made over 20 peace conferences for Somalia and helped the fake somali governments with billions of dollars and thosands of foreign troops, we didn't get help with our conference in 1998 nobody forced us to peace and prosperity we did it by ourself and with the help of Allah. We did with our own forces no bantus and Ethiopians helped us. And in 22 years we were sleeping in peace and security. All this is due to the people of Puntland who loves peace and governance, we dont need 20000 Amisom forces to keep the forces our own sons is enough... our army troops gets payed with our own tax money our parliament and ministers gets payed with our own tax money. We have the most important thing in life self determination and indepedence.... next year we are going to take the next step by having democratic elections across the state from eastern Sanaag to Galgacio..... the parties with most votes are going to rule us.... congratulation my fellow Harti Darood we have something to be proud of.... and the oil companies are busy searching as we speak.... in this life you only get what you deserve. the haters can keep hating talking is cheap the fact is that by the end of the day we control our borders and enjoys peace. We dont need the regonization of the united states because we have regonized ourself. We even made the desert green. Its the quality of the people we were sleeping in our cities 22 years with peace and without foreign troops.

@Tanker - Correction: the Harti alone don't make up Puntland, the Lelkase, Awrtable, Arab Salah, Madibaan, etc. also make up a large percentage and without their blessings nothing would have gone as smooth. Stick to what you do best (praising the late dictator) and not Puntland which you just have done great disservice to.

Your threads title doesn't do Puntland any justice. Might as well go ahead and call it Majerteniya if your going to just congratulate the Harti and no the rest.

Puntland remains the benchmark for federal states in Somalia.
They have not only developed their region economically and politically, but also shared their vital experience and expertise with other nascent federal states.
Compare it with the actions of s/l, who for 20 years never missed an opportunity to bad mouth Somalia/Somalis, refusing to even mediate with Somalis.
Somalia owes a great debt to Puntland people.

Its the quality of the people we were sleeping in our cities 22 years with peace and without foreign troops.
