I've always suspected these stores. Their prices are incredibly cheap and that's too good to be true. Furthermore Muslim parents are not affected as we don't buy any meat products from supermarkets as they don't all meet the halal requirements. It's only the chavy single mothers who cannot be bothered to cook a meal that's affected.

British Supermarkets Selling Horse Meat
So recently it has been exposed that British supermarkets such as Aldi, Lidl and Iceland are selling dodgy beef. Apprently accourding to BBC and other media outlets their beef is not actually beef. They've sampled their ready made beef meals and found that it contained 100% horse meat
This is why you should never shop in cheap food stores.

but seriously they haven't full sampled Lidl yet but they did Aldi. Either way stay away from them. Only shop in Tesco, Asda, Sainsburys. Their stuff is british made whereas those other shops get their products from foreigners like the polish and french and German and God knows those people put dodgy stuff in food coz its cheaper for them.- AbkoowDhiblaawe

I think a cow less expensive than a horse - if if I am right, those horses on the beef isle ended up there because they were dead/dying b4 selling them as beef...

Re: British Supermarkets Selling Horse Meat
not necessarily, i've read some where that if these horse meat contain a chemical from a vaccine given by vets then yes it would potentially cause cancer.Tuushi wrote:No shit!.Really?hydrogen wrote:It's dangerous and cancerous.Tuushi wrote:How bad can horse meat be?
Re: British Supermarkets Selling Horse Meat
if they give u horse food as beef what is preventing them from giving u pork as well? the food market has been tainted. besides nobody knows why these horses ended up there and how they were processed...
