I want to write an article about WSLF.

Does anyone have information about WSLF fate after 1978?

What happened to WSLF after Ogaden War.

May someone help me with some details about WSLF?

They basically disintegrated into little rival movements. Some have made peace with the occupying forces(Ethiopians) by choosing material over their dignity.

Now the only group left is the ONLF led by an aging inaffective Admiral(dont know how he attained this title considering the fact that Western Somalia dont have no sea. They have no strategy and are a spent force right now. They remain in the jungle just growing some dreadlocks and slaughtering goats and camels to feast on.

BUT beacuse of that, for ethiopia they were enemy number ONE!

and they sought to destroy it, with the help of cuba, russia, america etc. Becuase they almost reached their goal of uniting all somalis in galbeed, to freedom


then ethiopia decided,,hmmmm what about an OGADEEN LIBERATION heheh, so the somalis can hate each other and have petty clan rivarlies instead of uniting and creating another WSLF originization etc.

and then you see the result today

but I believe WSLF will rise again, prolly under the banner of GPF or something



but basically, WSLF was winning the war until siad barre, offically interevened, if he just kept supplying goods etc. and weapons galbeed would have been won by then, but he attacked ethiopia and that turned it into a country war, instead of civil war

that jeberti ruined everything, then all those countries went after WSLF and shut it down, then the jeberties created ONLF in yemen ( hahah!)

but it cannot even reach 1% of the greatness of WSLF
that was a TRUE SOMALI GROUP!

not just clan based.

ONLF was created by ethiopia, that is why they have never won any regions.....ever......in their entire history, they were created as spies, to spy on somalis who want to liberate galbeed, what's a greater backstabber then an ogadeen?
