three proposed changes i would make to the somali federal constitution:
1. no region of the original 18 should merge with another as it widens and balances development
2. every region of the 18 should have good brotherly relations with EACH AND EVERY other region in an equal manner without clan bias
3. every region has a power-sharing formula for its clans/ethnicities
also i would like to add that citizenship should be split between national and regional levels and that political voting and running for regional/local political jobs (mayor, governor) in each region be open ONLY to the regions' citizens
ps the 18 units should not be called federal member states but instead regions as somalia itself is a state in the sovereign sense and not an intl. organisation i.e. au,eu,un

It seems that Darood now controls the two largest and strongest States inside Somalia, Puntland and Jubbaland. The oil of Puntland and the farms of Jubbaland
and now we are going to work together

Who are in these delegation? Not the stakeholders in jubbaland.
So this should only be seen for what it is, glorified news and a tempt of faroole trying make himself relevant. If madoobe or aw libax was in this meeting that would have carried some weight but thats not the case.
And we should be careful of labeling jubbaland as a darood entity even thought it is darood majority. Jubbaland trancends clan boundaries and its controlled by jubbaland people. Not a by one clan.
