If you lived a certain lifestyle with someone, you get married and then suddenly they change, would you divorce them? Not everyone wants to change, and not everyone will appreciate a home buddy spouse. I know girls like this dude and dudes like him are not rare. This is the saddest thing about marriage, everyone has such different expectations.

my girl wouldn't change, but if she did, she would change for the better and gain knowledge
if she became evil, i'd have to leave her

If you marry a moron, then you deserve the consequences.

War ninka waaba xoolo edeb daran. Ma walaalkeed hortiisaa aa xanaaqaas ula kacee anigaaba yaabay
GG, change as in how? Qof fariid ahaan jiray oo salaadiis iyo sharaftiisa ka haray maad ula jeedaa? This is why we should never get involved with just anyone. Bal marka hore hubso, yarka aad damacsanatahay xaguu kusoo koray, yaase saaxibo la ah, reerkiisa miyuu xushmeeyaa etc This clip entails the classic 'been aa lagu soo xero geliyaa, runna aa lagu dhaqaa'

Don, thats the nice expectation of marriage. That it will enrich you and gear you towards better yourself and each other. Some people have other ideas.

That's true walaal, for their own sake I hope they learn their lesson, cause life's lessons will repeat itself UNTIL learned.

So true. She might go hankering after the same type again just to fill that void of wanting both fun and a stable life. That dude is on the road to repeat his mistakes with this epic line "I can find another wife 'like that' ".
Tuushi, its not life changing really. We grow up reading quran and being taught to pray etc ... then a couple of years of ciyaal suuqnimo then back to being just like hooyo and aabo meant for us. Its the natural order!

Folks divorce each other over that? Every one has what they consider the final straw but didnt think that would be a cause for a divorce.

He's saying she changed, meaning she was down w/ the shish + club scene when they got married. He got passed her parents cause she was just as qac herself. Now that she's over that lifestyle, and he isn't, it's best they part. Birds of a feather flock together
