Advice on Traveling to the US.

Post by Osob101 »

Well finally for the first time I will be making a trip to Bosoton for a wedding and wanted to know how prepared should I be for the immigration officers to interrogate me in the US. I have been to Canada before and never faced any issue. I do have a Chinese, Pakistani, Angolan etx Visas on my passport among others as well as my UAE residency Visa. Should I get a clean passport or just stick with the one I have. I Carry a German passport.

I would say emphasize your western accent but you're a German passport holder so that wouldn't help

I hope your joking :mindblown: I have nothing to hide and will be staying only for 10 days. Plus is it better to fly into JFK or DC. Which airport has a much smoother immigration process. I don't care about finger printing because they do that pretty much every where now a days. Obviously I don't look anything like a German but atleast my birthplace is Bonn so that might confuse them.

JFK does Dubai flights more than pretty much any airport in the world, so as a resident of Dubai, it may be better for you although I'm not an expert on the immigration system.

Osob,

Boston is the worst airport to fly into. The Customs are pricks and fock with you. When I traveled through there years ago, I was grilled about my qabiil. Are you OG, MX, MJ, HG, or ,,,,,,,, I told the guy it was personal and inappropriate question. He knew that I knew my rights and let me go after 30 minutes after searching my baggage piece by piece.

You are better off flying through JFK or Dulles on Qatar/Emirates/Eithad.

Boston before April is a cold arse place to visit. In the summer its a great place to chill, party and take in the sites. Gosh, I had fond memories of that place and the summers spent with my Eedo.

just have the invitation in hand and u won't have problems. Tell them to fck off and return home the minute they try to mistreat u - u got only a wedding to miss...

Pakistani visa is a red flag so is the UAE residency.

AW

The Customs officer in the United States knows about Somali Qabiila, alaa Aniga hooganye  , am flying into JFK and connecting on to Boston's but on my return am flying from Boston to Frankfurt. All I need to know is will they be grilling for hours since I have never been to the states and should I get a new passport since I have so much Visa on my current one. Am worried about the Pakistani Visa especially.

Relax, you really have nothing to worry about, and no one will suspect you of anything.

Jesus Christ. Boston TSA are filthy dogs who will harass you and will push you over and ask for your clan and other personal information even a fellow Somali ethnic shouldn't ask. They immediately suspect you to be a terrorist. They will treat you as a drug smuggler, Al Shabab member and child molestor all at once. They will search your baggage for an hour and make you miss your connecting flight when you are going back to the UAE.

Avoid Boston at all costs. Get off at Providence or NYC and drive down to the wedding. You will be truly sorry if you get off at Logan. Worst airport, worst TSA employees and worst environment. That airport is like Auschwitz for Somalis. I will pay an extra $1000 to avoid that hell.

4 months ago I flew with Qatar airways non-stop to JFK and Walahi I was just waved through when I was prepared for a rigid introgation bc I was coming from Somalia and also the fact that I fall under the "high risk" category.

I have relatives that travel a lot and I am aware that Detroit is mean and nasty. Newark is terrible as well. DC got a Somali customs agent and you can on purposely get in his line, if you good looking you can charm your way through if you trying to avoid in farta si'iilka lagaa galiyo :whoa:

Don't come to DC there is more precaution because it is the capital. It would be more convenient to fly international to other cities such as NY. Washington they will give you hard time. Source. I live here.

Osob,

Wallahi, they were told by some people that some qabiils are supportive of Kooxada Wejigdubta. This dude was rattling them off and I told him to bugger off. Fortunately, I got a US passport so he couldn't deport me.

These fockers are smart and can access your travel records. Just be cool, explain your reasons for visiting and avoid looking too conservative. When is the wedding ? If its summer, then there will be more travelers and less time to focus in on you. P.S. Be among the first off the plane so that they don't tie up their time processing one person for too long.

P.S. you will need to be prescreened before boarding the plane and so if you are rejected, they will prevent you from getting on it.

Waryaa,

Them RFID chips in the new basaboor are sneaky. Beware !

I kid you not but be prepared to be shocked because they will present picture of Somali dudes and ask you "do you know him, what about him, this one, that one". They will ask your qabiil and they know all of them. Dont be shocked when they show you the Arap guy from Somaliland (leader of the rebels in Somalia). These muthafcukers even know districts in Somalia, they have been so educated on Somalia walahi
