So Hiiraan is posting a fake picture of Kismaayo? Isn't this picture Hargaisa? I posted it once because some website posted it as Kismaayo picture.
I was basically a child last time I saw Kismaayo so I am not sure about this picture; it looks Hargaisa to me:

Looks like Hargeisa but Hargeisa is known for its colorful rooftops and its wide spacing and room. That picture doesn't exhibit that. Not sure. With that being said, HOL is a very respectable source. HOL has possibly committed its first human error. HOL is regarded as Somalia's 'New York Times' or The Economist. They are the elites of Somali media. You go to Starbucks while you read HOL online and order yourself an expensive latte. This thread is an attack on HOL. HOL has no reason to purposely post pictures of Hargeisa (if this is the case) and pass it for Kismayo (if this is the case). They are neutral. They don't even post fake pictures of Beledweyne, so why Kismayo? Why are you signaling out Hiiraan Online when you've just admitted another website posted that picture too? Is it because you hate Hawadle and reer Hiiraan? Learn to accept human error and move on. This is possibly their first mistake they have done (if this is the case) since launching in 1998. That's a pretty good record to me. HOL will possibly post a page long apology on their website for this mistake (if this is proven) unlike other Somali websites who shamelessly leave their fabrications and lies even after being exposed.

The mosque in your picture appears to be differnt from the one I posted; in addition, I don't see the Naas Hablood foothills in the picture I posted.

The Masjid in your picture has two minaarads where mine has only one. There are similarities though. It is possible that the two pictures are both Hargaisa but taken at very sparse years.

It looks like any other city in Somalia, calm down people, let's not kill each other over a picture. SMH

There's no Naasa Hablood in my pic either.In fact it looking away from Naasa Halood and towards the Airport
Also it could be from a totally different angle and totally different buildings all together not just at a different time
