Garbahaaray Conference update.

So now that Kismaayo is peaceful and both Marehan and Ogaden are agreeing they would like to live and prosper next to each other in peace and security, we turn to Garbahaaray Conference:

In Garbahaaray we have:

-Aw-Lbaax faction which supports the Jubbaland project (about 80% of Marehan especially politicians/businessmen/civil society)
-Kalil faction which wants all the land freed from Al Shabaab befor any confernce (about 20% of Marehan especially the troops and military commanders, and especially pro-Mogadishu Marehan)
-Sayid faction which has spoken out in favor of "6 regions" at times (about 0% he has really been an outlier but he was chairman of former SNF/SRRC so we get it)

The conference has hit the third day with attendance by the mayors of Dollow, Luuq, Ceel-waaq, and Beled-Xaawo and many other politicians, civil leaders, and officers.

There have been some agreements already

-To support and participate in the Jubbaland Conference
-To divide into two committees (One political, One military)
-To give the political one unfettered right to represent Marehan to the media, country, and in the Jubbaland Conference
-To give the military one unfettered right to continue waging war against Al Shabaab and to search high and low for support
-To never speak to media unless trough designated spokesman for the committees who will consult with thr committees
-To never reach a decision without informing each other
-To do what they can to see their people in peace, security, and prosperity under Jubbaland State of Somalia

It will wrap up in two days where the new empowered political committee will head to Kismaayo with Gedo representatives.
