Ogaden national liberation front have been fighting since 1984 without any assistance from Somalia, i have been hearing several people saying that if we get our independence we will join Somalia but why? it all makes sense now for why Somaliland wants to get away from Somalia and the reason being MJ thiefs and mooriyans (Hawiye) which a country with those two clans will never be any peace.

What's your view of this situation, are you guys for Ogaden being an own state or join up with the chaos?

Ogadeen state doesn't exist. It's galbeed, or somali region. Or whatever clans live there, their 'regional' names for their cities etc. lol ogadeen, that is from the british playing divide and conquer, and you agree with it, disgusting.

WSLF: Almost won all of Galbeed, supported by all somalis

ONLF: won no regions, supported by only ogadeen clan, sucks (gives up their own fighters....smells like a ethio led group)

WSLF had a strong support from the Somali government but the invade destroyed everything even tho the WSLF leaders told Siad Barre not to invade but support them with heavy arms.

ONLF don't have any kind of support like WSLF had due to Somalia has no strong state and have been under civil war for over 22 years, they have been fighting with not only habash but dabaqodis like Puntland etc. The name Ogaden is known for the region, noone can ever change that even if Ethiopia changed the name, the name is still used in Jigjiga, you will see alot of signs with ogaden on offices, hospitals and other kind of companies.
The ONLF have been fighting since 1994 and have gained alot of success, they can't just take over a city and say ''we liberated the city and is now under our control'' they have been taking over small citys but didn't hold them for so long. Ethiopia is the biggest and most strongest state in east africa, they get alot of support from the west and you're talking about liberating and such. The oromos that is 60 million struggles on taking over addis ababa by politics and not fighting. If Ethiopia goes under civil war which they will since there is no man who can control ethiopia like melez zenawi ONLF will take over the whole region without a problem.
