Al Shabab kills innocent civilians by throwing grenades and sending out one of their brainwashed members to blow themselves up at markets. Im not against culture.

Imraan Bin Husain (radhiyallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "In this Ummah will be earthquakes, disfiguration (of faces which will be transformed into apes and pigs) and showers of stone (descending on them from the heaven)." A man from among the Muslimeen said: "O Rasulullah! When will this be?" Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "When singing girls and musical instruments will become profuse and when liquor will be consumed (in abundance)."(Tirmizi)

Hadhrat Ali Bin Abi Taalib (radhiyallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "When my Ummah indulges in fifteen misdeeds, calamities will settle on them. Among these are singing girls and musical instruments." (Tirmizi)

Hadhrat Abu Hurairah (radhiyallahu anhu) narrates that Rasulullah (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) said: "Listening to music and singing is sinful. Sitting at such gatherings is fisq (immoral transgression). Deriving pleasure from it is kufr." (Nailul Autaar)

Hadhrat Ibn Abbaas (radhiyallahu anhu) narrated: "The musical drum (tablah) is haraam. Liquor is haraam, and musical instruments are haraam." (Kaf-fur Ruaa')

Regardless, Somalis back home will never give up their music. During the height of the civil war, music was the only thing Somalis turned to for enjoyment while bullets were flying and innocent people were being brutalized by warlords and street thugs. You ban music and there will be an uprising.

1-Allah is the best entertainer.
2-We must love the Prophet SAW more than ourselves.
How can we love him SAW if we disobey him?

It is xaraam and there is a big punishment,for it.
just bcoz lods of ppl listen to it doesn't make it right.
loads of ppl are involved in interest.
it is a big sin. Allah waged war in whoever deals woth interest.
just bcoz loads of ppl deal with it doesnt make it right.

thousands of somalis are sinning.
if music is banned and there is an uprising,
then the ppl are jahil and don't know their deen.
the prophet SAW said we must obey our ruler.
he SAW also told us that we musn't rebel against the ruler unless we see kufr.

so if they uprise they have disobeyed the Prophet SAW
