Why a Uhuru Presidency will be good for Somalia

Post by AbdiWahab252 »

A win by Halyeey Uhuru Kenyatta will bode well for Somalia. His election will be a snub to the West and its kangaroo court, the ICC. As President, neither he nor his PM to be, William Ruto, will go to the ICC proceedings which were scheduled to start in April but have been pushed to August. The possible repercussions of a Kenyatta-Ruto win:

1. Souring of diplomatic relations between the West's favorite East AFrican country, Kenya.

2. Possible sanctions against the leadership and reduced donor aid to Kenya.

3. Potential withdrawal of Kenya from AMISOM as reaction to any stepped Western sanctions against the regime.

4. A pariah regime in Kenya will have reduced influence on the regional and international stage with its rivals most notably Uganda taking advantage to extend its influence.

5. The Mohamud regime in Mogadishu will also take advantage to solidify its case that Kenya is a hindrance to stability.

6. More political gridlock in Kenya as resentment against the Gikuyus as out of the 4 Presidents, 3 have been Gikuyu.

So lets pray for a Kenyatta Presidency, it will be good for Somalia :stylin:

I am ready to place a wager on a Raila Odinga, friend of Somalis, victory. Unlike the dictator led Uganda, Kenya is moving forward and finds itself well ahead of other nations not only in East Africa but all over the Continent.

Somalia would do well to emulate its neighbour's progress. Let us hope that Somalis return to the civilised way and fight political battles via the ballot rather than the gun.

You want Jubaland project to fail so bad, don't you? LOL The West will never abandon Kenya. They don't care who Uhuru and his crew allegedly killed/murdered.

Abdiwahab do you really believe Uhuru whose father founded this country is going to risk damaging his country's credibility by shirking his responsibility in front of the world and Kenya. He is going to Hague (which he has said many times) and he will go there with the confidence of his people with him and beat the Western world (read: British) at their own game.

Watch Downing Street fall over themselves congratulating him when he wins.
