i understand most members of snet are biased qabiil-possessed idiots who will support anything their clan does whether it's genocide, mass rape, etc. but I just want to know one thing. when discussing the events of '91, certain members like abdiwahab and hutu like to say "well the dictator siad barre did that to us too" or some shit like that. i just want to know what was the purpose of getting rid of msb "the tyrant" if all you were going to do was the same thing. caydiid had the fuckin golden chance. any rational person in his position would say to himself, "i got rid of the dictator, let me form a new govt. so that we can improve somalia and stop the dhulmii which mj's, hawiye, iyo isaaq faced before msb was ousted."

instead what does this guy do, the same thing he fuckin accused siad barre of doing. :mindblown: i mean seriously wtf brah. any reasonable person would say the atrocities the regime committed after the '77 war were disgusting and cowardly so why would this guy do the same things he supposedly fought against. things don't add up. caydiid was not the freedom fighter that some people paint him out to be on this site. some of the things people say on here confirm why somalia has been a cesspool for the past 22 or more years. i just want to see what how people reply to this wallahi and see how brain dead most of the people on here are.

p.s. this is not a qabiil bashing discussion. more so, a warlord bashing discussion

I agree with your overall point but while I concur that some of the statements made by people on this forum confirm why Somalis seem so stubborn about letting go of their qabilist sentimentalities, I don't think that the sole factor of Somalia's issues is qabilism. While qabilism is a major factor, there are many factors that contributes to our motherland's issues.

I'm not qabilist in the least and I don't understand people who are so I'll just sit back and lurk to see what others think. :ugeek:

While I respect your opinion, I disagree. Obviously qabiil isn't the only problem but it is at least 85% of the problem. That's why while I want Inshalllah see a democratic Somalia, I honestly don't think it will work. For example if there were two presidential candidates, one got his phd from a top uni, held a great position for time, and built up his resume to lead his people, the guy who has the blood of innocent people who never had a formal education has a chance of winning due to qabiil. we need to fuckin wake up out of this jaahil period wallahi. every flourishing country has abandoned this ideology. even the arab countries that we adopted the clan system from have moved on and share everything with their brothers and sisters. why can't we? we are born by chance to different qabiils, why cant we accept that and stop fighting over it?! :mindblown:

THAT right there is one of the problem. We hear but do not listen, we read but do not comprehend, we talk but do not communicate.

i don't get it. :? she said qabiil is a major problem but there were many other problems. i see qabiil as the head of all problems. i don't want the importance of qabiil as an obstacle to be diluted.

I don't understand what you mean. I'm agreeing with him, I just wanted to point out that qabilism isn't the sole factor to Somalia's issues.

Negritude, I thought you were against racism. Aren't you exhibiting discrimination against all Somalis with this comment?

Somali's lack principal and a sense of justice. If my qabiil is getting killed by somebody it's a terrible tragedy, if someone from my qabiil is doing the massacring, then I will find every excuse to try and justify it.

We need to gain a sense of principal and justice for all.
