As soon as i enter Berbera and am waiting in line to pay my entrance fee/ visa, im approached by female officers wearing jalabib asking for bribes. Plus each city has check points and some of them require more bribery money.

No one said it is a proper airport, only Hargeysa and Berbera have paved runways in the entire country. The Burco airstrip is too narrow and that is why it is
being enlarged, renovated.

Ceerigaabo also has its own functioning airstrip much bigger than the one in Burco.

This is how the airstrip looks like close up, it has a couple of renovated buildings that belongs to the airstrip area. Months ago it was a lot worse, squatters were living in it.
