Digle and Mirifle are two branches...The Digil and the Mirifle. The Mirifle contains many nomadic Somali sub-clans that banded together including the Eelay. The Mirifle together are called the Rahanweyn but Somalis sometimes label all Digle and Mirifle as Rahanweyn or Eelay.

The Digle are very diverse linguistically, culturally, and even phenotype but the Mirifle are basically nomadic Somalis who adopted farming and speak May-May.

rahanwein or Digil iyo mirifle is not a clan its a midgo federation thats what i heard tho
