Col Adan Ibrahim one of the commanders of the government troops moved from Gedo to Kismaayo is interviewed from Kismaayo and he says:
-Somalia is now a legitimately recognized government and with AMISOM has reached a plan to bring Kismaayo's security under government control
-Somalia and AMISOM have agreed that Ras Kamboni is a 3rd party "jabhad" and 3rd party factions cannot work in post civil war Somalia
-Kenya AMISOM forces respecting the mandate and the changes have agreed to the request to remove them from the town as an armed faction
-We have now prepared a large government military base in Kismaayo airport and along with AMISOM are the only ones in control
-Our mandate is to secure the Sea Port and other government centers in Kismaayo with more troops arriving
-We have divided ourselves into two sections one which will be securing the center of the town and others government centers
-The former government troops in the city have a new commander and we will be incorporating them professionally into our force

I doubt very much the KDF will hand over the city to a group which works hand in glove with Al Shabaab.
Don`t forget why the KDF are in J/Land.....to fight Al Shabaab....hello!

Somalia is a country with a full political legitimacy now and Kenya forces answer to their donors and AMISOM African Union political command.
The head of AMISOM (himself Kenyan) Andrew Gutti, the new commander of the army Gen Af Qarshe, the new commandant of the army Gen Cabdirisaaq, and the new commander of the government forces in Jubooyinka Col Cabdi Cigaal were in Kismaayo less than two days ago and legitimized the government mission in Kismaayo Airport.
The page has turned.

The takeaway from this is the world and the empowered Somali government have agreed there will only be two legitimate forces in the new post-civil war Somalia....Somali government national troops which answer to the Somali army or AMISOM forces here to support Somalia's move to take back its security. There can be no other party, faction, or militia outside of this security arrangement. One of the agreements signed in Garowe was Puntland forces will be integrated into national government apparatus command and control and even Ahlu Sunnah forces in central Somalia have been disbanded in the Caabudwaaq agreement. Ras Kamboni is late. That era of factions and 3rd party militias and factions is up.

Voltage,
Stop feeding on the propaganda. The people that came to Kismaayo were two generals and were returned back right-away because the admin of the city said that they were not going to meet with them. The Tolomoge Kenyan commander game them the middle finger. They were returned on the same plane that brought them from Muqdisho.

The 180-300 troops that trekked from Ceelwaaq are been kept in an area outside the airport under AMISOM guard and a decision will be made regarding their case, their is a likely chance they will be returned to the Ceelwaaq front.
RSK have some 2,000 men in and around Kismaayo and run all maamuls in Dhoobley, Afmadow, Badhaadhe, Kulbiyow, Taabta, Burgabo, Ras Kamboni, qooqaani, Janaa Abdalle, biibi....etc.All captured territory in Lower Jubba falls under Ras Kambooni.
These troops even if they were allowed to stay are no contest for RSK militarily but they are a risk to the security and stability of Kismaayo and I think the Government wants to use the presence of these troops in Kismaayo to destabilize efforts to build a Jubbaland admin.

EEGA you forget to mention KDF are posted in all those locations too plus Somali government forces, one thing is for sure, Ras Kambooni does not have near 2000 in Kismaayo, otherwise they would not be afraid of a mere few hundred soldiers coming to Kismaayo.

Patriot all I know is that those men are mostly Marehan, they are funded by the government and trained along side the Cagdheer currently in Kismaayo, they clashed back in 2012 in dhoobley and today they are back together in Kismaayo.
the Marehan camp seem confident venturing into Kismaayo whiles the ogaden camp is very nervous, so this leads me to believe maybe Ogaden are not strong enough to hold the city against these guys if KDF were to not get involved.

Adali that isn't the case. The Jubbaland Administration is simply looking to keep the city secure and free from violence. 100 guys with 4 technicals won't capture Kismayo but they could cause a few hours of chaos in the outskirts, something that isn't needed especially while the Jubbaland Conference is ongoing. The Jubbaland Admin is not nervous, it's more of a case of keeping the area free from possible troubles.
