I don't think it's just this place. Somalis off the Internet are just as qabilist. I've heard of fights due to qabil (and I live in the West), social exclusion or teasing due to qabilism among youth, among other things. I think it's because people on snet are relatively anonymous so they feel safe spouting their hatred as openly and as often as they like. But I don't see any difference between the prevalence of such disgusting discrimination based on tribe online or offline. Not only that but Somalis tend to be very callous and sometimes cruel people. So I can't say that I'm surprised at the state of Somalia based on how so many people choose to be or act. It's disgusting, really.

:mindblown: Are you implying that intelligent or religious discussions have no place on snet? It's saddening that intelligent or religious topics are scorned here.
