if you want to understand what is the big problem with jubaland project: its all about the structure and how many districs you have. For example jubada hoose has 6 disticts, the raas kamboni has three disticts on their own out of kismaayo, others would share the rest like the raaskamboni and beerxaano wich sh sharif made them for some clans....
The same way for jubada dhexe in this way its like the president always to be from raas kambooni for having more districts who would vote. If you add gedo its a problem for raas kambooni and makes more subclan blances besides these jubada dhexe districts.
now the last approach adds them another three regions. the government backs this one because its more like a little somalia with a southren identity.
Raas kambooni are now in some talks with the government, since they lost puntland for the government they seem to be isolated, they have been told as kenya has azania in the longer run, their chances are better with the somali government.
since the lifting of the arms embargo, alot of militarization activities had started, this is a cornerstone policy for the government. So far, a 2500 soldiers who had trained in abroad with heavier weapons have been made ready, these are only for the tanks.
The army will be inclusive consisting of all regions and 5000 is expected to arrive from puntland.
reconciliation is not the one and only approach for this government, the NISA(national intelligence security network) has been established to target those who are behind the insecurity in the capital.

Re: latest approaches
J/Land will continue regardless of Govt involvement.
It seems reer Gedo are back on board, and the conference is proceeding towards completion.
Sahal.....didn`t you say the J/Land project was over?
As I said at the time....never count your chickens before they hatch.

supporting t Hawadle is a central power in hiraan.
Re: latest approaches
Sahal,
Raskambooni or any of the other participants said nothing about how adding Gedo is a problem. Infact, its probably Raxanwein, some hawiye who would do not want Gedo included. At any rate, it's irrelevant to discuss as Jubbaland was and always will be Gedo+2Jubbas.

Re: latest approaches
Lower Jubba has four districts; Kismaayo, Jamame, Afmadow, Badhadhe.
Middle Jubba has three districts; Jilib, Buaale, Saakoow.
Gedo has seven districts; Baardhere, Burdhubo, Garbaharay, Luuq, Dollow, Ceel-waaq, Beled-Xaawo.

Still the same. I only added 2 that was made districts by sh sharif: raaskamboni for gaaljecel and beerxaano shared with marehan. Jamaame is biimaal and whatever. The`Republic wrote:Lower Jubba has four districts; Kismaayo, Jamame, Afmadow, Badhadhe.

Re: latest approaches
"Jubbaland" idea from British colonialism to Morgan's attempt to JVA view to Azania form to this project has always betweem Gedo, Lower Jubba, Middle Jubba. No one is adding anything to anything.
Also Marehan live heavily in Saakoow district in Middle Jubba and live in Af Madoow, Kismaayo, and evem Jamaame now. Heck we live even in Bajuni Islands.
Remember when the Kenyans accidentally opened fire on herders in a waterwell in Jannay Cabdalle and the Kenyan government apologized and paid mag? Jannay Cabdalle is couple miles to Af Madoow yet those herders were Marehan.

Re: latest approaches
voltage ok thanks for sharing. I believe your big share comes from gedo.
every clan live in every where but im talking about the traditional nomadic or the urbanic districts like the bajuni islands not malittia-held districts.
Besides you Janaay cabdalle is also claimed by gaaljecel, bulo xaaji by cawramala.
I get your point.

pat
I have enough info from all sides and the majority opinion but im not gudiga farsamada i just mentioned it as one line of these short subjects in this thread.
I characterized the problem by structure not important was it right info or not at the end its all about districts, there is the conflict. The more it get bigger the more the problems stay like the french say plus ca change plus cest la mame chose.
The latest approach in baydhabo wich is about six gobols makes easier for the govenment like galmudug was told to join some where.
the jubaland region had a cyclical problem and no one has established himself in there. Now they all want to reach a political estability.
