There has been a lot of things that have happened since any recent reports. To start from where we left off, at the conclusion of the Nairobi meeting by the signatories and officials from Gedo and J.Hoose, there were some important points agreed. To refresh your memory, here they are:

In mentioning some of the more pressing highlights, I over looked point number 4. Which says that the Federal Government shall take it's rightful place in the construction of Jubbaland State. Though exactly what that means shall be explained in the next few days, but nevertheless, considering this opened the way for the Prime Minister to come to Kismaayo, could signify the important role he is wishes to play.

Some news outlets report that the Prime Minister will take the leading role in the conference, and will make some amendments to delegate selection and division.

Going back to Gedo troops from Ceelwaaq that have made it to Kismaayo, and the conflict that arose, leading to the Nairobi meeting, has been completely settled. The Government has the complete right to move about their troops where ever they wish, and no jabhad has any right to make a fuss. Ahmed Madoobe completely failed in getting a favorable settlement from Nairobi, and came back extremely unhappy and disappointed. The Nairobi meeting clearly indicates which way the tides are turning in the region.

Here is Col Cabaas Talxe speaking to his troops situated in K-city airport confidently and openly, and Axmed Madoobe made to shake their hands in an attempt to resolve their differences. MP Xidig, the same one who called them Alshabab only a few weeks ago stands in their presence keeping his opinions about them to himself.



More troops are expected to arrive in Gedo to bolster up the troops already present.

Dude the PM was forced to come to Kismaayo by the IC and there is nothing secret about it.
Shirdon govt did not initialy recognise the JL mamul, Axmed Madoobe etc.

Secondly you said Shirdon wanted Raska to go to xamar for trainning? Do you mean on raping, looting civilians just like they do in L Shabeele?

Lastly the Marexan troops in Gedo are useless and mostly infiltrated by AS. There are more KDF troops in Gedo than Lower Juba and coupled with the fact that EDF forces are present.
Yet no significant gains have been experienced for the past 5 yrs. Celwaaq which is a Garreh City is the only secure area free from AS menace due to the Garreh Forces.
Ilkoyar should man up and figth their own battles no one will assist a group of snitches to liberate Gedo. This is a lesson learnt by KDF in their field operations in Gedo.

Without Gedo, the whole conference is without legitimacy. How can you make a regional administration for Kismaayo, Afmadoow, and Badhaadhe, and the rest of Jubbada hoose and all of Jubbada dhexe is controlled by Alshabab. The largest area free and the largest region is Gedo after all.
