it seems as though raas kambooni were laughing at the government all these days
This revelation will damage the governments interests.
in the last hours they contacted with some group who looked surprised by it and now they may join the conference.

ok, they didnt reach breakthrough about the govornments bigger share in the port and airport revenue and raas kambooni lower juba governor and sheekhaal middle juba governor and then uniting the two maamuls under one jubaland federal state.

The Govt plan was never gonna fly.
At least now the international community can see J/Land folks tried to negotiate with an intransigent Govt.

Well, the interior minister was saying the govt will carry its national duties.
The most important thing is the fear about the pms group joining the conference after this revelation. Its his duty to to get the support for the govt withing his clans camp but the interior has made big mistake when he opened secret talks with raas who was just playing political game and laughing at the govt

So you admit that the pm is being used to get the support of his group?

By the way the government came with a list of conditions and demands that they have devised in hamar... That is hardly a "talk."

What is the national duty that the government will carry? I wish the president would act presidential for once.

I didnt said that and its not just about his group its also about his clan camp and then the whole home policy but some are not his real business like galmudug wich will be dealt through other ways at the end.
The pm is there for 4.5 so what is the useful of appointing him if he cant get support for the govt? Why not with a dir pm for example if it just about appointing?

The PM is a shaqsi. If Marexan feel that His plan is beneficial for them they'll follow, if not they'll make their own decision. Bottom line is Marexan is 100% behind the idea of a Jubbaland, but the proceedings have to be tweaked and they have been a lot. There is still a possibility Marexan back the conference 100%.

Marexan nor this laughable so called Federal Dawlad have no option but to support Jubbaland. I think it has become beyond clear who calls the shots into regards to Kismayo iyo the whole of Jubbaland today.

What is raas kamboni ? a formerly al shaabab armed group who then switched side to work for the Kenyan gov .

as for the pm he is more a govt man... so after the talks have failed he is gone for a military solution and succeeded bringing his army inside the town after talks with amisom leaving kista as a kinda of winner.

The Govt does not have the capacity to wage war on Kismayo.
Their plan was to use Marehan to derail and weaken J/Land.
This has clearly been a failure.
With Marehan backing J/LAnd is unstoppable.

Going for military option will mean other regions arming themselves to ensure incase they disagree with the govt then they need to protect themselves.
Thus locals from Bay and Bakool, Lower Shabelle, Galmudug, PL ,SL,some parts of Central Somalia etc will stay on stand by and arm themselves because in one way or another disagreements will surface because of the way the govt is conducting its affairs incase of turning a blind eye on nepotism,distribution of resources etc.
This means the govt will turn into another shabaab and after the wars will be exhausted, bunkrupt and exposed.
So far grievances are resurfacing like Baidoa, Lower Shabelle, Galmudug etc.

The way forward is listening to the locals and assisting them in achieving their goals towards establishing a Federal State. Thus if the regime proves itself as partial to some while genuine to others it will reignite the old wounds.

Lastly for your info there is no Hawiye in L Jubba. Hawiye end in Middle Shabelle its after the 90's that they started intruding into L.Shabelle region.
