Jubaland and somaliland

The somali government is in a messy predicament that it had put itself in by its own incompetence. What I find interesting is how will the federal gov deal with somaliland who doesnt even recognize its legitamacy when they cant even deal with jubbaland who:
1. Recognizes the legitmacy of the sfd.
2. Fulflls the requirement that 2 or more states can form a regional state.
3. Is giving the government its part in leading the process.
4. Is willing to sit down and discuss their differences

This is more than troubling to even think of. What are your opinions?

At this point marehans are confused and directionless. One day they are pro government and calling us all sorts of names and the next they are saying they want jubbaland built. Why is there so much conflict? You should know that putting your fate in the hands of the pm is way too precarious because he may be marehan but he doesnt represent marehan. He represents the federal government and he will excute whatever mission his boss hands him.

Some marehans think aligning with the government simply because the pm is marehan is an excellent idea but this couldnt be nothing short of political suicide.
The pm will be replaced in four years... What then? Jubbalanders must think ahead and plan as far as the next 20 years at least.

No matter how many times you place land in front of some random name in hoe it will relicate Somaliland, it wont. Somaliland is different to every lalaland in southern Somalia. We sit and control 90% of the former british somaliland which united with the other half. You brain dead morons are just breaking up half into smaller pieces hoping to fool people but the only fools are you guys. Its like us breaking up Somaliland and declaring togdheer and a bit of sool and claiming a state whilst forcing the local inhabitants to accept the project.

Somaliland cant and wont ever be compared to anyone or anything in the south. We are light years ahead of you guys in uniting and accepting that a handfull of straws together are stronger than a single seperate ones...

^ You have the missed the point. I am not comparing the two states. I am trying to highlight the incompetence of the government for failing to have reslove the political conflict that arises from states that come under its jurisdiction. And because it failed this mission...how will they negotiate with people who currently do not recognize or accept its legitimacy.

This is something siilaanyo could use to make a sound and supportable case when the talks between him and culusow comes.

You are comparing apples and oranges , the Jubbaland is yet to take off and the government of Somalia has a problem with the technicality of how a state should be formed in which all the major stakeholders can be happy with it. There is no big issue in Kismayo there are Somali troops there raskambooni troops and African union troops. Jubbaland falls under Somalia jurisdiction its people are represented in the parliament and the people of Jubbaland consider Mogadishu their government and president. The government has to deal with Jubbaland using the correct governmental and parliamentary channels and its doing that ofcourse there are difficulties and it wants to please every one but it will get there.


Somaliland is a whole different case and the goverment of Somalia has to deal with Somaliland in a whole different way, the international community will play a role in the talks between Somalia and Somaliland, there will be negotiations about how to clarify their future relations SL and Somalia. And i think some sort of compromise will come out because there will be international mediators. While Somaliland and Somalia is about a voluntarily union 53 years ago, there will be legal experts when it comes to the talks. The Jubbaland thing is a more domestic issue for Somalia , and it needs to please its citizens. But with Somaliland and Somalia its different fundamental issue. So the government of Somalia will deal with Somaliland in a different way and it will approach it in a different way diplomatically politically.
