I like the idea of Somaliweyn finally coming together. If the Oromo, Afar, and Tigre want their own separate lands, I don't see why they should be forced to subjugated by the dominant group in Ethiopia. In my opinion, Ethiopia has taken the lands of others and suppressed people for a long time.

The question is what are you going to do about it ?CushiticReflections wrote:I like the idea of Somaliweyn finally coming together. Re: Ghosts of the Horn!
I do plan on working in Somalia at some point. Today, Somalia is being exploited and destroyed by many other parties such as the US, Al Shabaab, and perhaps others I am not aware of. My general focus, if God so wills, will be to help make necessary tools more accessible to all Somalis so that they can have greater opportunities and ability to create change in our nation. I don't see myself as a politician-type or a warrior so I cannot create this change on my own. I can only help others do what they will with their own lives so that they, and thus Somalia, may have a greater chance to be prosperous if Allah so wills.STARKAST wrote:The question is what are you going to do about it ?CushiticReflections wrote:I like the idea of Somaliweyn finally coming together. You're right about apathy. It only contributes to the issues in the world.
