HAG asked Saacid to attended Aydid's cemetery

Post by Rightwing »

HAG wants Saacid to pay his respects to their fallen General Aidid. He visited Siyad barre's cemetery but not General Aydid. Hypocrisy exposed and ridiculed.

History will tell. In my book General Aidid was legend and liberator. Aidid will be remembered for his triumphant fought he drove out Mohamed Siad Barre's regime from Somalia.

That is what you would love to see happen, don't you. It burns many iidoors so much that a Somali prime minister and a Marehan one at that made an official government trip and paid a tribute to his greatness Jaalle Maxamed Siyaad Barre. :D

Hypocrisy? If anything, i think Shirdoon's trip to Garbahaarey improves his credibility. If you watched what occured, he did not go there speaking of nostalgia or glorification or anything of the sort (there were men in his delegation who possibly lost members of their family in those days) instead he remembered that we live in harsh times at the moment (which is true) but we should also forgive him for the grievances and the problems he caused for Somaliweyn. He, as a government representative and a clan kinsmen, was bold enough to mention that we did not have an easy ride with the former President..this is something you'd probably never hear from pro Siyadist snetters here so in my books that was good of the PM. Cafis iyo masaamax soomaali oo dhan haloo soo jeediyo baan aniguna la feker qabaa.

If you think the people didn`t have an easy ride with President Mohammed Siad Barre(AUN), What have they had since then? :snoop:

Its people like this who opposed the Paxa Hawiye nacala ku tal.

Rightwing,

No way ! The Mahdi Caydiid's tomb is tended by 6 wadaads who do constant quran akhriis over his grave 24/7, 365 days a week. To bring Carabweyn would be an insult to the Mahdi.

I do not know but I saw a video once of his tomb, people regularly make pilgrimage to his shrine like abdiwahab mentioned. I am glad MSB has normal Islamic grave and not a pimped out one. When a person leaves this world, they should be buried in an unmarked grave regardless of his worldly status.

I disagree with you. Saacid is misinterpreting the reality. He paid respect and tribute to the man who came to power with the bullet and clings on to power only with it and made sure after him will be vacuum of governance that brought havoc to all parts of the country. I assume Saacid may legitimise a national holiday for Siyad Barre while painting and describing Aidid as a warlord leader.

People make pilgrimages to Aidid's shrine? Are you over exaggerating? Do you have that link? :mindblown:

Yeah, I see MSB's one. It was nice and simple and unmarked.
