if you want to understand how the somali policies have changed so far think about the uk and somalia bilateral conference, means somalia is co-hosting unlike the past conferences where puntland, galmudug, ahlusuna.....
Now all these are incorporated in the internationally recognized government.
Another success is you have in the past an ethiopian and kenyan buffer zones not just as a shield but also as a block to keep the status, these blcks were behind abdiqasims failure and other successive presidents. Now ahlusunna were bribed, the gates of hiraan, bay&bakool and gedo have been closed and only one mutual problem is there.
Ethiopia and kenya cant do shyt now because uk and america and and very important arab countries are working with somalia.
the govt has thrown its support at the serrelione(sorry about the spelling) amisom on their way to somalia to get the lead and the amisom spokesperson role in kismayo, they would be responsible in dealing with and training the national army and help about setting up the administration excatly the same djbouti amisom role in south-central somalia. this plan would confine kenya to a lower assistant position.
1000 serralione amisom trained by america are about to get deployed in kismayo.

I advise you to ignore it if you dont like it.

Re: latest policies
Sierra leone incase they come to Jl will be spread over Gedo,M jubba and L Jubba.
Its not like they will all be stationed in Kismaayo and ask the KDF to vacate so as to satisfy the qabyalad mentality of Culusow.
The days of Culusow is numbered no one will allow him to abuse power in the name of empowering USC.
Why cant he put the Sierra leone troops in areas where Ethiopians are vacating like your home region Hiraan?

Re: latest policies
because hiraan has no port
N0. Because hiraan is under control.
I think your people have miscalculated the capacity of this govt.
The troops will land at the airport and even if some of them go to other places in the future it will take ages because they have been given the leading and amisom spokesperson roles and this role plays more building the army bases, training them, offering uniforms and setting up the adminstration

dude the largest contigent army are Ethiopians with few djibouti troops while shabaab is in the gates of Hiraan waiting eagerly for Ethiopia to depart and chase out djibouti and the clan militia.
the spokesman is djiboutian and he will not dictate to Kdf on such matters.Kenya knows its role nor will it be sawyed by cumar gelle spokesman.
Re: latest policies
i mean hiraan is under political control, the outgoing governor is back from xamar and just waits to hand the power to the newly appointed governor. He agreed long time ago and told the press.
Now is there any problem between the govt and hiraan administration? N0.
i mean the local spokesperson the new amisom commander in jubooyinka like the col osman dubad who is the amisom commander in hiraan and central regions.
according to the military discipline he is the one who would work with gen guti the amisoms general commander in xalane and the govt, this will make easier for the govt to operate in there.
As for al shabaab, they dont dare to touch hiraan, it has 1000 well-equiped djbouti forces besides its bold hiraan forces.

Re: latest policies
What do you think the Govt will now do?
Will they work with the new state.....or reject them as illegitimate?
It seems their last hope was to instigate a war between Marehan and Absame, that has thankfully failed.

Re: latest policies
No. Because according to them, without the govt blessing, he has no legitimacy.
What they are doing is to appoint his competitor from the other clans and then a power struggle will occure, unexpectedly war can occure too but its not their option and not gonna start it. they asked for a new amisom commander from serrielione and they have this authority over amisom, then, accordingly the strengh will slowly shift to the official administration and will pull the rug from under the feets of the broke away administration

Re: latest policies
What if the new J/Land state refuse to cooperate with the Govt, and the competitor state is unable to garner sufficient support?
Do you expect Amisom to fight ras kamboni?
I think the control of the airport and seaport revenues will be vital.
If the Govt refuse to recognise J/Land it will be easier to keep 100% of the revenues.
Being unrecognised will work in J/Lands favour.
Weapons can be easily imported and the security forces increased.

Re: latest policies
the expected jubaland president would be shaykh madoobe does he too have a sufficient support? If has now he would have it in the future.
He has his group and southren ahlusunna who knows what happened to central ahlusunna....
He has 4600 KTD.
Now, onece the sierra leone reaches the ground within this week the situatations will change.
Besides the command being given to sirrealione and this would much facilitate for the govt to access to....you would have 850 sirralione vs 850 KTD
The number of KTD will be slowed down to 850 as agreed by amisom command and kenya.
nigerian and ugandan police will be deployed in kismayo and other two towns.

Re: latest policies
Sahal......the Govt writ doesn't extend to Kismayo.
We are now the legitimate Govt of the J/Land region.
We are now the legitimate Govt of the J/Land region.
Re: latest policies
Sahal most of the federal Government army in Jubbaland will be loyal to the Jubbaland Government, will you bring troops from Xamar to fight the army and RSK/Ahlu Sunnah?
