At the moment, the city of Las Anod ee gobolka Sool, is part of the Somaliland state AND the SL Government.

private companies contribute to something up and down the of the country, and people post here on Snet.

Not really the city's population before SL took over was 250k now its around 180k. The police force is absolutely useless, the officials are killed on a regular basis, assasinations are also very common.. Remember 09/10 in a period of 3months 11 bombs exploded inside the city, one of the bombs actually injured the mayor.

Apart from a few NGO's operating in the city all if not most construction was halted, the city has not expanded as much as it used to when Puntland was running the city.
