first arms shipment has reached mogadisho port last night arriving from djbouti.
Another larger procurement from egypt is expected to arrive mogadisho port in 15 days.

somalia is set to get military aid and logistic assistance from america
president obama has fully supported somalia in obtaining traditional heavy defensive weapons and shopping arms.

the somali president has travelled to kenya to attend kenyatas inauguration ceremony.
Besides it can help to reach a new beginning for the two countries its also a good apportunity to meet the other african head of states like the sudanese president omar al bashir.

after leaving many somali towns in central and south westren somalia the ethiopian army is crossing back into these towns.
Sources said the two governments have reached an agreement that the ethiopians could stay until eventually get replaced by amisom and the govt forces.
More burundi troops are on the way to these regions to join their amisom forces.

They will be only consumed by 30 thousand soldiers. I know banaadir military bases had 25, thousands of soldiers but i read new numbers in the wikki that they are between 18,000 to 30,000 including 6000 EU trained soldiers in uganda.

mashallah things have totally changed for the intersts of the govt, besides the uk-somali conference wich is on the way hosted by the two leaders; america is fully supporting.

Thanks to our djboutian brothers who become the first nation to provide military weapons to somalia, all today the port was closed and the weapons have landed.

after the american recognition for somalia government they are talking now about a normalization of relation between somalia and US.

Rearming the h/g moryaans that were crushed by successive Somali Govts is a recipe for disaster.

I have many Abgaal friends and relatives, Wacabudan Celi Omar particularly, who are uneasy with the rapid empowerment of ceyr militias/financiers/politicians since Hassan Sheikh took office.
