A statue for the conqueror of Laascaanood Mujaahid Dhancade

Post by CaynabaX »

In my opinion Reer Laascaanood behaved very good over the last few years. They should be rewarderd with a statue of their hero in Laascaaanood; the recently deceased Mujaahid Colonel Dhancade.

The Mujaahid was from the well known Muuse Cabdalle - Habar Yoonis tribe. Allahu yaraxma what a ruler he was.

He spent 10 years in Moqdisho prison. Around 1984 the Majeerteen made an agreement with Afweyne on the condition that he jail certain Isaaq officers whom the Majeerteen accused of war crimes. At that time the warrant of his arrest came out and Dhancade was adviced to run and join the SNM , he refused and he was jailed and tortured by Majeerteen women in prison, everyday the gate was opened for few Majeerteen women to pull the balls of the man. For years his Hawiye wife tried to realse him through Hawiye conection but it failed and he was realsed finally when the USC took Xamar in 1991. He was a decent soft spoken man not greedy and demanding , he was not given his honors from Siilaanyo's clannist goverment , but somaliland lost a pillar, i hope Xirsi Futo Gaab and his daddy Siilaanyo don't fill Dhancade's post with another Dhulbahnate.

Of most the eastern Isaaq sub-clans will miss him , he armed some of the nomads in particular the sacad yoonis .

It truly is a shame he wasn't killed for his crimes against humanity, especially against the women of Waqooyi Bari ee Soomaaliya, the rape campaigns, the executions of innocent civilians, let alone the other defenseless men and children who were murdered in the hands of Waqooyi Galbeed officers.

I don't understand how Somaliland can be crying foul regarding his fellow Kacaanist Maxamed Cali Samatar when they put men such as these on a pedestal. :|

Ma dhoocil baa, wallahi I feel so sorry for you, what an emotional kid. Quick, call the UN, tell them of the bias they are conducting!

Mr. X Playa, I would display no proof, while we are at it Col. Dhagaweyne was also an innocent man, all so charming and soft spoken shall we say? Lets stop the gimmicks. This obvious hypocrisy isn't helping anyone, least of all a supposed nation tirelessly trying to make it onto the international stage.

What fairy tale excuses are those?

Some people chose to be part of your enclave, you repay them by calling them occupied, it says a whole lot more about you, than it would ever of them. Ileen meesha low IQs baa ku soo batay, I think Somali net forums need a purge. :| How can people get so emotional over a census..

I didn't ask you what you heared from edo Baydan and edo Mulaaxo, what i asked you is do you Majeerteens have solid prove of these silly allegations other then the common faith of all Majeerteens that some Isaaq officers killed their lots.. you have been parroting that for 20 years and I yet to see a shred of evidence.

Dismissing the presence of Waqooyi Galbeed officers in Mudug, Nugaal and Bari is just ludicrous. I wouldn't normally go out of my way to prove it. But seeing as you want to outright deny what you already know, I might just post a few sources soon. Of course you will dismiss these as hearsay even if the citations turn out right.

I can't win either way as any clanist you base your opinions on emotions but I'll post them.

The simple chain of command system of the military will make your Majeerteen claim void. There was not a single Isaaq general in any Majeerteen area , the highest ranking Isaaqs were few colonels and most of the millitary was dominated by your tribe , in fact the entire Isaaq had less generals then 1 family of the Dhulos in Afweyne's goverment loool so i don't see how can few Isaaq Colonels do all that damage without the consent of the Daarood generals. lool

It's no funny matter my friend.

Lets even look at the chain of command. An example of it being broken at an early stage was after 1977 after there was a massacre of officers in Wajaale, a disgraceful act. When Col. Abdullahi Yusuf Yeey, a controversial, truly one of the most controversial men in Somali history was asked to hand over his officers, he refused. Now, what does this say about the officers you are defending if a controversial man with an infamous reputation can refuse such a crime?

One must ponder over this. I think as Somalilanders, there needs to be a lot of reviewing when it comes to the talk about waana la xasuuqey. Of course we all know the region bore the brunt of the Kacaan ruthlessness but it screams hypocrisy, do you agree? I don't think this statue will ever be erected in Laascaanood, he's also accused by the Sool population of crimes in the early 1990s during the infighting.
