Sulub Cabdi Axmed was a teacher when the call of the halgan came to him, he rose through the ranks of the halgan to be commander. He has escaped Ethiopian custody twice after killing off his guards but those were early days. Today Sulub is the hunter bringing much pain and distress to the rogue Ethiopian state. He is said to be a skilled commander on the battlefield and a man who carries much admiration and respect from his men.

He was in Kenya recently to oversee the negotiations with the Ethiopians (which ended in deadlock), the Ethiopian delegation( composed mostly of military men and the defence minister) began asking which one is sulub? is that sulub? there was said to be genuine interest and fear from Ethiopians at the sight of Sulub who wasn't expected at the meeting.
