Hey Sahal80 you might have heard Professor
cali khalif galaydh saying on the radio, the Somali government recognized Somaliland;
Do you think that it is true about somaliland already being recognized in 13 april like he (cali khalif galaydh) said and will their be a
motion held tomorrow in the parliament concerning the contract signed by Somalia-somaliland.
Please reply ASAP thanks

Bro this government doesn't have the power to recognize a region they claim to govern. Not without the consent of those who will get affected by such a decision. They may not talk about SSC etc for now, but the day you hear a minister talking about them is the day you should start to worry.

wtf i was shopping man just seen 4 sahal threads!! i didnt know you was making an essay.
Yeah i have seen pro galer interrupting the speaker but he told him to make a motion first.
I know the professor was al mustashaar in qatar for gulf companies so apparently he knows what he is talking about and its a reaonable opinion.
The turkish conference was a kinda of unprecedented and will open more doors and opprtunities for somaliland. They found a fix for this.
Now they got recognized as a separate political entity but not as a separate legal entity. This doesnt make them an independent country like i said many time it puts them in the crossroads between shaaric al istiqlaal wa shaaric al waxda.
The idea of the motion im not sure if they can take cetain action againist it since the govt decided it, it has to be from within the govt.

I dont like to give you fake opinions but you should understand the idea
treating somaliland as a separate entity was unprecedented
The motion needs enough votes wich i dont know but they are controlled by this enclosed group so you need the govt but the pm lacks support and has no proposal these days. however, let us wait and see.
