I just called the FBI TOLL FREE NUMBER FOR MY INPUT
The TWO men shown on the street camera carrying a back pack bag--looked Pakistani slash Afghanistan descent. I spoke to an FBI official about my facial recognition expertise. The man wearing a white cap is definitely Paki--his meaty elongated nose and his dark oil balding hair with olive skin color is synonymous with Pakistani. The other one wearing a blue cap who is a little bit chubby looks preppy and I cant really put him from which country he hails from-- but definitely a student in Boston judging from his preppy appearing. (He is also possibly a Pakistani if the other one is such) Of the two--- the one with white cap looks easy to crack in interrogation. He looks idealistic and kinder than the other one who is more preppy and cerebral. He looks like grandpa (although someone who is ready to maime, kill and inflict pain using flying nails can hardly be thought 'kind')

Didn't white people originate from the hindu kush mountains where people with pale skin, light eyes and blonde hair can be found today?

That's one theory. But like most theories, there's plenty of people out there with opposing theories that they believe counter that one. I personally don't possess enough knowledge of human anthropology to subscribe to any particular theory. But I can tell you that in a particular span of Hindu Kush, specifically the area between eastern Kabul, into Laghman province, parts of Logar, Nuristan and Kunar have people with these types of people. Their skin is not "white" like western Europeans (bright pink undertone) but rather actually white as in genuine absence of any pigment. Their eyes can be any shade and hair any shade. The Laghman, Nuristan and Kunar regions possess probably the highest concentration of these people. Their origins are debated but they have a notable impact on Afghans of all backgrounds, all over the country. Even I, for instance, have hazel (dark green/grey) eyes and reasonably pale skin but pure black hair. Here's a random image of one of the people you're probably referring to, this was taken in Kunar Province, Eastern Afghanistan; the man is probably Safi tribe Pashtun or a Nuristani tribesmanAdvo wrote:Didn't white people originate from the hindu kush mountains where people with pale skin, light eyes and blonde hair can be found today?

People on this website fool around. Trolling is the term. Don't take 99% of what people say here serious. Somalis have an alter ego on the internet and love to lie and joke and spread nonsense.zamindawari wrote:I trust this is satire... The Pakistani look you describe is essentially limited to sterotypical Punjabis only and maybe some of the Sindhi people in the south. Afghans have endless different looks, from Mongoloid near Chinese to near fully European to average Arab/Persian regional looks to awkward mixtures that don't really fit any known category. This has gotta be satire. At least I hope it is. Are they even certain at this point that it was definitely the two kids in that video clip?

Good info, that man can easily mix in with a crowd of eastern European origin
I do not know much about afghan culture, but are there different languages/ethnic backgrounds? I sometimes cannot help but notice the uncanny resemblance of our communities. Islamic uprising, warlords, political instability, clan feuds that cannot be traced but honored in stabbings anyways, fierce warriors that cannot be conquered because of our harsh cultures, even though Somalis are 15 million worldwide and just the Pushtans alone around 40 mill? And world apart, I think our environment played a pivotal role in forming aggressive similar cultures.

I'm sure this is more information than you wanted but... Many different languages and ethnic backgrounds! Afghanistan is somewhat like an world in itself, a very tribal and hostile world even to it's own people. Languages - Pashto and Dari (Afghan Persian) are the most widely spoken. Other languages are Hazaragi (Hazara Persian), Turkmen, Uzbek, Balochi, Pashai and the various Nuristani languages like Kata-vari. But everyone speaks Pashto or Dari even if their native language is something else. Ethnic groups generally correspond to language - Pashtuns, Tajiks (native language is Dari), Hazaras, Turkmen, Uzbeks, Balochi, Pashai, Aimaq (language is Dari), and Nuristani. There is no real "national" conscience as exists in much of the world today, inside Afghanistan very few people consider themselves "Afghan", we view ourselves as Pashtun or Hazara, etc. then often by our tribe. Everyone is divided into first their own ethnic community (Hazaras with Hazaras, Pashtuns with Pashtuns, etc.) then second into tribal communities and sometimes even into sub-tribe or qaum. The Tajiks, Turkmen, Aimaq and Uzbeks do not have tribes, they are simply large ethnic groups but all Hazaras, Pashtuns, Balochi and Nuristanis have a functioning tribal system and are very aware of their tribe and it's social implications. For example, there are literally hundreds of Pashtun tribes if you count the sub-tribes that are formed as smaller communities within a larger tribal structure. It's complex but our tribes allege that we are common descendants of a particular ancestor while the sub-tribe can be formed based on one's village or a more recent ancestor. An example of how this works would be, in Afghanistan I'm not "Afghan", I'm a Pashtun but more importantly I'm Panjpai Abdali/Durrani then after that I'm Alizai then finally I'm Khalozai. And explaining what that all means and how it works is enough to fill a small book but this is the terms many Afghans think in.Advo wrote:I do not know much about afghan culture, but are there different languages/ethnic backgrounds?
The more I read about Somali history moving into recent events, the more intrigued I am by the parallels we share. I haven't been able to identify our differences yet but I know that our history is very similar, as well as all that you mentioned. I really don't know of any other people on earth with all of those factors present. Tuaregs possibly? But I know almost nothing about them.Advo wrote:I sometimes cannot help but notice the uncanny resemblance of our communities.
