This proofs that the Federal Government has not recognised so called Khatumo,

I don't understand Khatuumo. Why don't they just join with Puntland if they want to stay with Somalia? They don't meet the 2 gobol requirement to make a federal state and Muqdisho wouldn't think twice of trying to entertain the idea of administering that area due to conflict (even Khatuumo wouldn't want to be run by "Muqdisho").

It seems like they are setting themselves up for failure. They will eventually get taken over by Somaliland. Their largest town in Somaliland hands doesn't make the situation easier also. It's not a matter of if but when.

Khaatumites should be allowed to excersize their God given right to self rule. But sometimes, the way many forumers come across, these folks seem very very bitter with Isaaqs, i can't help but think had the tables been turned, they would have given Isaaqs a very difficult time.
