The Wisdom of Fasting Ramadan

* From a medical aspect there are immense benefits from fasting. The most important uses are:

Fasting is the quickest and easiest way of losing weight.
During fasting, the person feels physically and mentally healthy and he or she looks younger.
Fasting lowers the levels of cholesterol and blood pressure.
The dangerous habit of smoking can be reduced or even abolished.
Nervous tension is relieved.
Dependence on drugs is terminated.
Treatment for insomnia by fasting is possible.
Digestion of food is improved and bowels are well regulated.
Better eating habits are adopted.
Fasting purifies and profoundly modifies our tissues.
* It provides man with a transparent soul to transcend a clear mind to think and light body to move and act. All this is the never failing result of carrying a light stomach.

The Joy of the month of Ramadan alone is enough to cure every ilness and disorder...even if it's just for 30 days.. Crying or Very sad

Don't tempt me..i'm becoming a vegetarian tis ramadan...

who am i kidding? the only veggies i eat will be the onions in the sambusa. Very Happy
