I have said it several times. People like Hutuking should be dealt with accordingly one moment they are HAG the other they are shabaab sympathisers, informants and footsoilders.Gacan biir wa in lagu qabtaa.
Killing of dignitaries is not part of Somali culture.

I find it so fishy that days ago 13 members were executed ( May allah throw them in hell) and now they attack Xamar? Honestly... AUN to the dead ( except the suicide bomber, may Allah curse him)

Don't be hard on the government. Muqdisho is a big city, it's not a small town. It's harder for them to stop these terrorists. The police and the military are doing the best they can with the resources available. However, this is just evidence of how desperate Al Shabab really is. All they can really do are tactics and strategies of guerrilla warfare. If this is the best they can do, their days are clearly numbered. Any idiot can assemble a bomb or strap themselves with explosives and ram their car into another car and blow it up. There is nothing stopping any of us in the West doing it in the cities we inhabit. But... we aren't terrorists and we won't even engage in such cowardice behavior.

However, I am starting to see what this thing has evolved into. It's obvious something really shady is going on. Why is Muqdisho always the target? I understand it is the capital but for the amount of attention the city has been getting is really strange. There are many urban centers with significant government presence and not to mention with much easier targets. Of course I don't want any Somali to be targets of these terrorists but there is a hidden agenda and I think Al Shabab are not the only ones who are involved in trying to make Muqdisho unstable. Even cities in south-central Somalia that have been recently been liberated from Al Shabab don't have anything to fear from. They don't have the threat of bombs and gunfights breaking out. It's becoming way too obvious.

Calm down Warsheekh. I can appreciate the frustration among Mogadishu residents(including your own family there) with the government's inability to crackdown on the prevailing insecurity. I am here in Mogadishu and I can assure you as a citizen with no association whatsoever with the ruling establishment here that, in the most unfavorable of circumstances, the government is doing its best to improve the over all security. As you know it was just yesterday that a three days city-wide lock out was lifted in attempt to foil Alshabab plots to carry out bombing plans. Unfortunately, today they struck with a deadly precision in on of the busiest quarters of the city with a significant number of casualties. This shows you the enormity of Maintaining security in a metropolis such as Mogadishu with an estimated population of 3 million. Imagine yourself being tasked to spot a single suicide bomber in these sea of humans; it is basically like searching for the proverbial needle in a haystack. Faced with well trained, loosely connected cells of professional terrorists bent out on carrying out their deadly attacks, the government as it exists today, ill equipped and undermanned, will in all likelihood struggle with security issue for foreseeable future.

what is happening in Mogadishu is an inside job, the regime has been appeasing and being to friendly to qabils that host terrorists.

If former warlords are not excluded from the regime then the fire crackers will be in place for a very long time.

The policy should be zero tolerance.

You cant simply employ thugs who collaborate with terrorist and know every move the regime takes.

Kkkkkkkkkkkkkk

I really hate how weak this govt is. What i hate more is how they treat captured shabaabs as human beings.

Amiir Turtle must either do something or GTFO and let him take also Hurdaaye.
