funding for a planned doubling of the police forces(8000)

Post by sahal80 »

Mogadisho is definitely back withing this year.
It has now 4000 police so you got 8000 police forces withing this year.
At the end of the London summit Britain committed around 180 million pounds ($279 million), including funding for a planned doubling of the police force, and the United States donated $40 million

This govt is very honest one and we got the hassan sheekhs brain but we really really need funds.
One thing is great about hassan sheekh is that he checks every thing by himself, he doesn't let the ministers to go to abroad to save more money while before you had all these nairobi hotels like sharif sakin who had his own hotel no matter in or out abdullahi omar ex fm too, cabdiraxman shakur ex cooperation too plus all these nairobi bassed mps
Now anyone goes out has to spend his own money.
So you see the things are now totally different plus no focking NGOS.
Besides the uk with the biggest funds.
Denmark 70 million dollar
America 40 million dollar
EU 40 million euro also promised more than this in their september summet in brussels
Qatar 18 million dollar
Turkey 10 million dollar.

I'm doing a thesis atm on the matter of proposed funding commitments by the north in relation to developmental enterprise and the lack of tangible sustained support behind the rhetoric.

Somalia will recieve a sum no doubt but reports are conflicted on how much was agreed upon; some reports saying $80mil others as low as $30mil. All I know is within the 2year framework, I'd be surprised, away from the cameras if 20% of the budget makes its way to Somalia. Ofcourse, the president will leave this summit believing the white lies of the international aid community - which is fronted by the World Bank btw which implies some degree of usury(nothing is free), and expand the police force believing his needs will be covered only to find out 1 year down the line that the level of security he had hoped for is undermined by a severe lack of funds; extending the foreign involvement with the country for the forseeable future.

There is conspiracy the theory and conspiracy the facts. This is the conspiracy the facts but what is good is that we have no more NGOs
Where all these money gone?
on top of the $1.5 billion it has given since 2009.

War costs ALOT. Fighting al-shabaab is expensive but with their influence waning recently; the money will hopefully be used for infrastructure development and not merely just on security.

Abdullahi Yusuf (AUN) wasn't crook. He left with 2000 in his bank account and died with no money in the bank

There is a policy that every gobol should send to xamar 1000 men to get trained so they can keep the security in their local towns.
For the first time, hiraan army and police got paid their salaries each for 100 dollar and they are getting ready to take bulo burde and jalalaqsi. I know the pm is looking after the gedo army, more concentration in there secretly and may get more money stright from the pm but since there is no access I guess they got at once every time.. once they set up their military bases things will change but this depends on the situation and siera lione.
