Post by TAATIKO »

why somaliland refused to go to london conference?.
and why suddenly somaliland supported the outcome?

sababtu waa tan

culusoow waxaa laga saxiixay shirkii Istanbul

4- In gurmadka beesha calamka ay siiyo Somaaliya, uu sadkiisa ka helo maamulka Somaliland.

iyadoo siilaanyo uu horay u sheegay in ay soomaaliland tahay dowlad isku filan.ayuu dhib u arkay in tv-yada caalamka laga arko isagoo dhax fadhiyo miiska tuugsiga

xasan culusoo ayaa looga baxay howshaas. hadana kuqasban inuu waxa uu soo helo lala qaybsado.

taa oo ah anagu shirka waan qaadacnay wixii ka soobaxa waan taageeraynaa!!!!!!!

The Foreign Minister until her appointment was a staunch and outspoken supporter of Somaliland. Hence Somaliland has a resident adviser in a good place. Whether rejecting to attend a conference and supporting the outcome is a calculated decision and part of playing politics.

whether rejecting to attend a conference and supporting the outcome is a calculated decision and part of playing politics ...or?

incomplete sentence

Also Somaliland is a political SEPARATE entity . Puntland is NOT . Case in point , in the last 10 years the majeerten have had one president of Somalia and 2 prime ministers , right ?
So what explains their current opposition to the Somalia project ? many things , but let's call it a change of heart.
So , in that sense , is it possible , just only possible that Fowsiya might have changed hers too ?

These pirates are funny , I must tell ya , men and women , prima donnas

Sahan,
You used to be a cool guy, but lately all you do is insult whole clans on a daily basis. Anyways, in my mind my sentence above was complete, but if you want to spin it, be my guest.

Oh, I have to edit my post, I did not see the last part of your post. Puntland made it clear why it was not attending the conference. There is/was lack of consultation with Puntland as a regional government. (as required by the constitution) Puntland was presented with a fait accompli agenda and had no input on what was to be discussed at the conference. Puntland government decided that there was no point in going for a photo-op.

I don't get you point about highlighting what Somaliland is or is not. Years ago I wrote in these forums that Somaliland will never become an independent separate country. I am still of that opinion. Maybe Somaliland's daughter Fowzia can make you a glorifed superstate.

Okay , niya , sorry my dear , I apologize .
Look I do not support Somaliland secession , but if there is no alternative , a viable alternative , there is no way anybody can counter it . A viable alternative is a multi tribal Federal Somalia .
Puntland is not helping here , sorry.
Maybe we could get on the same team , you go against your folks , I do the same , and we live happily ever after ... what do you think ?
